I've never said anything with this much conviction. ♥♥♥♥ off.
This game is beyond addicting, probably the best you can get as a chess enjoyer. While this roguelike deckbuilder version of chess seems to play very similarly to chess, you will find out that it is much more complex than what meets the eye, and requires a whole new level of strategy. The balancing isn't quite the best, however, it is still in its early phase, and likely to be improved through later updates.
This game is really interesting, really creative, and incredibly fun

The bgm is boring and the AI is stupid Even though it could have been easily avoided, the AI chose death.
Love all the crazy creative chess pieces. Very well thought-out game.
An absolutely fantastic game for fans of chess (as well as cultural variants like shogi) and deck builders. The four factions are all well-designed and offer people with different play styles plenty of options. Can't wait to see more
As a casual chess player, this game almost feels tailor-made for me. Keeps the original competitive feel of the board game even with the roguelike mechanical changes. One of the most relaxing roguelikes I've ever played too. The opponent AI for the campaign seems to make significantly more blunders than the average chess AI, so professional chess players may not find the game particularly challenging, but I felt the difficulty level was perfect considering the increased complexity compared to the board game.
If you are a fan of chess, this is a must play!
4/10 - game speed is slooooow even at the max you can speed it up with the game to 4 used 3rd party program to play even faster and make it bearable
Very fun roguelike spin on chess with tons of interesting new pieces.
