UNKO TECHNICA

「ウンコを便器に導く」って聞くとフザけてるようだけど、中身はかなり本格派。操作は“ジャンプだけ”というシンプルさ。 なのにギミックのクセが強く、ステージをクリアするにはタイミングと集中力が必要。  それでいて、グラフィックはネオンのレトロ風でクール。BGMもピッタリ合ってて、シュールさと“おしゃれ”が、不思議とマッチしてる。  ただ、ストーリーとかキャラの魅力みたいなドラマ性は皆無。「ウンコを便器に導くだけ」が命題。でも、それでいいんだ。目的がハッキリしてるからこそ、間違いなく「腕試し＆達成感ゲー」として輝く。  遊びやすさと難しさのバランスが良くて、ちょっとした暇つぶしにも、マジでやり込みたい人にも刺さる良作。クセはあるけど、挑戦してみる価値アリ。

前半は面白かったんですが、後半はただ鬼畜なだけ。タイミングがシビアすぎてレスポンスが悪い。ストレスがたまるだけです。 あと背景がやかましすぎる。目によろしくないです。背景はもう少し抑えてほしかった。 目に刺激がかなり強いので遊ぶときはご注意ください。

A couple of months ago there was an online showcase hosted on Steam by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) to support Japanese game developers; and this is what I got out of it. Yep, you read that right. The actual Japan External Trade Organization took their good time away from their busy schedule to promote a game which by the developer's own admission is a "Poop Precision Platformer." You cannot even begin to fathom just how fast I pulled my wallet out so I could throw money at this game. Platformers aren't even typically my thing. But here we are. What originally began as a merry and soothing little adventure -- guiding my happy little poop from butt to bowl -- eventually turned into a completely insane adrenaline rush bursting with howls of amusement, excitement, and limitless energy. This game is completely bonkers in the most awesome and exhilarating way possible. And this is a game about platforming poop! The premise behind Unko Technica is simple: you set the game in motion by releasing a wee poop from a butt that's located at the beginning on the level. Once released your goal is to then guide your poop all the way into its home: the toilet bowl; and you do so with a single button: jump. And yep, that's the only control you have. Just one button. That's it. Your poop will glide all the way, from left to right to left again, bouncing off walls, dropping off platforms, you name it. And the only influence you have over your poop is whether or not it should jump at your command. And while the game takes a little while to pick up steam, you will soon realize is that any perceived simplicity is going to go straight out of the window and all the way to hell. Make no mistake, this is a serious platformer with serious amounts of precision and reflexes involved. Some levels are even appropriately named to imply that frame-perfect execution will be demanded. What Unko Technica does exceeding well however is that it certainly takes its sweet time to ease the player in. Levels begin as "Single Screen" challenges but eventually begin to scroll seemingly forever, with obstacles becoming ever more tight and complex while the demand for intricate problem solving, sharp memorization, and precision execution become the norm. And as you discover more of Unko Technica's mysterious, esoteric and fascinating world you'll even be introduced to powerups which add yet another layer of mechanical mysteries for the player to adapt to. But throughout your adventure, as the mystery of Unko Technica's unusual world unfolds, you will slowly begin to see that behind the humorous presentation of the game, there is something deep and serious worth connecting to. That there is something worth discovering beyond what is being presented to you at face value; and this is what makes me love this game so much. You'll even be afforded some downtime from your chaotic poop-gliding adventures to discover and unlock customizations for your poop with an impressive array of noble titles, colors, and even special effects. Collab skins? Yep, we got those. Customization item gacha? Obviously. You even get to spend coins gathered from your adventures to unlock minigames and additional challenges! What the developer of Unko Technica has done so stunningly well however is to apply a very relatable and outlandish part of human humor and embrace it to the maximum. Unko Technica does not shy away from its identity, and, at its core, it is an insanely well crafted and devilishly challenging game. What an amazing discovery this was. This game is simply nuts.
