About
The year is 50,002. All of humanity has crumbled to dust. The only remnants are faceless creatures who wear masks of long-extinct animals, repeating the systems of humans who have disappeared millennia ago. There is no war, but suffering abounds in the vast stretches of posthuman eternity. Today, it is your turn to suffer.
Unfair Flips is a short incremental clicker about flipping the world's worst coin over and over until you get ten heads in a row. The game practices true randomness; it is possible that the first ten times you flip the coin will be all heads. However, it's exceedingly unlikely; with a 20% chance of flipping heads each time, your odds of getting ten in a row are one in 9,765,625. As you play, you can push the odds to be more in your favor, chaining heads together to upgrade your coin. However, getting ten heads in a row will never be guaranteed.

Rational brian says the odds are just as advertised. Monkey brain says if I get the sounds to happen in a pleasing rythm I'm more likely to get heads.

Very minimalistic, but it does well what it's supposed to.

An opportunity to experience probability. That's all it is, really. A forced confrontation with numbers. The act of that experience, for some, is likely quite revealing. I did not really find it to be. I spend a lot of time thinking about probability. My favorite kind of math is statistics and I play many games with many dice. I experience probability often, though generally more contextualized than this slam to the face. I finished one run, and I do not think I want to do another.
great game if only i could get heads
