About
As a wrongfully imprisoned monkey, you break out. Navigate through a hazardous, futuristic city to escape your pursuer and reach an off-world colony.
Unbound is a 2D precision-platformer game originally made in 13 weeks by Primal Crowd, 13 students at The Game Assembly in Malmö.
Precise Movement: Jump, Climb and Dash your way through 3 tricky levels filled with handcrafted precision-platforming challenges.
You're Being Chased: The prison guard you escaped from just can't let you go! Outrun your pursuer and escape the planet.
Retro Sci-Fi Aesthetic: Take in the views or just vibe. From an underground prison, to a dystopian city and a high-tech spaceport there's a little bit of everything to look at.
Go Bananas: Want more challenge? Every level is filled with optional even trickier trials to overcome. Be rewarded with bananas for your skill. Can you collect them all...?
See The Result Of Your Effort: The game keeps track of your time, bananas collected and death count. After each run of the game you'll see these displayed and the time be compared to your personal best. Enable the build-in speedrun timer to help you set a new best time.

o Jogo é curtinho, mas é divertido e bem feito. Como é gratuito, vale a pena. Mas se tivesse uma duração maior, sem dúvidas valeria a pena mesmo que fosse pago também.
The movement feels sharp and satisfying, the levels are challenging without being unfair, and the constant pressure of being hunted keeps the adrenaline high. With its stylish retro sci-fi look and extra trials for skilled players, it’s a short but intense escape that clearly shows how much care and talent went into its creation.
Great game! The jetpack mechanic was really well done and the difficulty pacing was great in my opinion. Loved to recognize little hidden exits and purposefully take a death to give myself a chance at a banana. Also the soundtrack is excellent!
Super tight 2D platforming with precise controls. Chasing through the futuristic city is thrilling, and the visuals are a real treat - every scene looks fantastic!
beautiful indeed! love the concept. will definitely play til the end

Oi bruvs, just wanted to say thanks for giving us this cool game! The overall gameplay, movement dynamics, and chase/escape sequences for Unbound are clearly influenced by Celeste. It's a quick little speedrun platformer that implements a good selection of control mechanics, environment dynamics, and level design borrowed from/inspired by a handful of recent successful titles.
@DEVS
When I played as the Bear, I noticed the wall climb down animation (both left and right) still loaded the Monkey animations. I'm not complaining or criticizing; honestly just trying to be helpful.
(^_^)
