Ultimate Zombie Defense

This game is a combination of top-down shooter and tower defense. You can play in solo mode, or in co-op mode with up to 4 players. If you want to play co-op though, you will probably need to get some friends to buy the game and play with you. This game came out in 2020, so playing co-op with random people is not something you can count on here in the summer of 2026. There are 8 character avatars to choose from, and 4 different classes. The avatars and classes are paired though... 2 avatars go with each class. There are 3 maps, and 4 difficulty levels. There is also 1 DLC, which is simply another map. There is no story or campaign, so the DLC is not necessary. It's just something else to buy if you really enjoy the game and want another map. As is usual with these types of games, each wave gets more difficult by adding more zombies, and introducing new zombies which are more powerful. After each wave that you successfully defeat, you have a couple of minutes to prepare for the next wave. You can open the shop, which allows you to both buy better weapons, and upgrade the weapons that you already have. You can also build a makeshift base by buying new defenses, and repairing the defenses that you already have. Cash is earned by killing zombies during each wave. In my experience, the cheaper fencing/barricades are best, because the more expensive fencing/barricades don't hold the zombies back for any noticeable greater length of time. Thus, the expensive stuff ain't worth it. Every 5th wave has a boss in it. Overall, the game was fun, but I'm a little disappointed that there wasn't more content included. I expected the game to take much longer to complete. The graphics are pretty good. There are supposed to be trading cards, but I've played for 5.0 hours so far and not a single card has dropped for me. Maybe the card drops are glitched. There are also Point Shop items available. Finally, there are 12 achievements, and they do count on your Profile. One of the achievements can only be gotten in co-op, so if you can find a partner to play at least one round of co-op, the game should take you between 2.0 to 3.0 hours to get all of the achievements. The game ran perfectly fine too. I experienced no bugs or glitches.
