Twizzle Puzzle: Animals

Note: This is a generic review for the jigsaw puzzle games of this indie developer. This is a traditional style jigsaw puzzle game with cute pictures. I am honestly not a big fan of indie games for various reasons, but I actually enjoyed playing this game. It has very beautiful artwork. The music is nice. And the gameplay is relaxing, straightforward and especially not buggy. I think it is worth its price for a 1-hour puzzle game from an indie developer. 7/10.

Cute Hannah's Games has shown a repeated pattern of ripping off ClickTeam Fusion templates and dumping them on Steam, though this account and a number of shell accounts he uses to disguise his identity, he's dumped well over one hundred valueless ClickTeam Fusion asset flips like this onto Steam. The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "Twizzle Puzzle: Animals" is just a ripoff of a basic ClickTeam Fusion "rotating tile" puzzle template filled out with some pictures stolen off the internet, and a lame, badly done filter slapped over the image to try hide the origin, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game, so this copy+paste of it can't be recommended. Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off. Asset flips are an insult to both PC gamers and to professional game developers who create genuine, high quality PC games. Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have. They make it harder for gamers to find genuine games made by honest developers. To cement the position of this asset flip as nothing but a cash grab, it was dumped onto cheap DailyIndieGame shovelware bundles very shortly after launch. Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from Cute Hannah's Games. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.[/quote]
