Twisted Arrow

Great game, well priced. Campaign only play is more or less 3 to 4 hours in my case on medium. I really enjoyed he game from start to finish. If you like bow games you will like this one. It is not as sweaty as some other games and you will eventually get tangled up in your cord but not as bad as other games. Teleport keeps the game honest from avoiding exploits so you have to get good shots off and avoid enemies with out just out smarting the game. Super powers are fun and they are offered at a regular pace. I'm glad I bought this game and many of my non VR friends enjoy the experience. " I feel just like... [insert name of bow weilding charachter from any movie or TV show]!!!" If they offer some DLC on a different campaign I would be in for the right price. Runs well on low end machines.

I really enjoy this game. I like the art direction, the environment and the bow mechanics. Although the story isn't anything amazing I really do like the narrative and that you feel like you are actually working towards something instead of just mindless wave after wave. It feels like a normal FPS game where you advance, some new enemies and areas and you fight past it, which I personally like. The bosses are also pretty fun to battle against! They weren't super hard or revolutionary, but I definitely was sweating and really enjoyed the scale of it. As well as they have some strategy of quickness, correct arrow, and teleporting. My favorite is by far (mini spoiler alert?) big zombie golem guy thing. The scale of it was awesome and shooting down from on top of cars killing poisoned people aka zombies and fighting him with explosive arrows was just a fun experience! It was really immersive and made me feel like a total BA. Pros: Your arrows are pretty sweet. Bomb, mine, frozen, normal, and auto-homing. You can shoot barrels, explosives, crates, lights, etc. So a decent amount of stuff to shoot. You really feel like a BA dodging bullets since on some enemies it is hard since time isn't slowed. It isn't a walk in the park, even on Medium I have failed missions a few times at the end! Cons: It's short. Sometimes trying to change arrows takes pretty long while getting shot. Sometimes you will get lost in the level, but usually there are prompts trying to explain your next objective. TLDR - If you like "The Lab" longshot challenge then buy this game. The bow mechanics are solid and overall it's pretty enjoyable. Nice art style, good sound FX, and satisfying to kill enemies. I would expect someone to finish it in about 1.5-2 hours, perhaps more, on harder difficulties.

Puh Twised Arrows, was soll man sagen 1) Ich hasse die fliegenden Roboter!!!111einseinself :-D noch schlimmer als die Spring Roboter bei Robo Recall^^ 2) Ist kein Wave Shooter, man bewegt sich an gezielte Punkte, diese sind manchmal nicht optimal bzw mit Locomotion hätte man eine bessere Platzwahl 3) Die Kampagne beläuft sich auf 6x15min +1x20min = 110 Minuten Spielspaß , es sei denn du bist viel schneller als ich 4) Mission fails sind mega nervig da es innerhalb der Map keinen einzigen Save Point gibt, verreckst du beim Endboss spielst du alles nochmal, was zwar durch relativ kurze level (s.o) nicht sooo tragisch ist aber schon nerven kann 5) Manchmal ganz schön tricky heraus zu bekommen wie du den gegner klein kriegt 6) Manche gegner fand ich Pervers, anders kann ich es nicht sagen den Heli z.B, manchmal hätte ich weinen können obwohl ich nur Medium gespielt habe, Hard tue ich mir nicht mehr. 7) Im Sale 5€ dafür hat man mind. 2 Stunden spielspaß 8) Ich fand die "Story" bzw aufmachung total nett für son kleines VR Spiel, natürlich lässt es sich nicht mit einem Mage's Tale oder Lone Echo vergleichen aber das hier ist ja auch keine Tripple A produktion. 8) Machen die verschiedenen Pfeiltypen spaß und man merkt wie man besser wird mit dem Zielen 9) Ich habe fertig :)

How is this not getting more attention, seriously this is one of the better games for the vive. Been playing for 2 sweaty hours and I'm so happy. Read a review that nailed it. If you wanna be batman get arkham vr. Wanna be the green arrow get this. It was my first thought when I played it, "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I'm Oliver Queen". Graphics well polished with a nice cartoon twist on explosions. Fairly decent AI, a lot better than some games. Excellent bow mechanics with a good choice of arrows Im really struggling to find any cons to be fair although I'm only a couple of hours in. If this gets good regular updates or even DLC this is definatley a must for your library. As for the movement I'm very much on the free movement side but teleportation works so well with this game. In fact free movement wouldn't work, due to the building traversing. Just stop reading this and buy it.

Klasse Action-Spiel auf der HTC Vive! Bin selten so intensiv in ein Spiel eingetaucht wie hier. Teleportation als Bewegungsart macht dabei absolut Sinn, da sie als taktisches Spielelement eingesetzt wird. Das Level-Design ist zwar optisch immer ähnlich, jedoch durch die Missionsdesigns sehr abwechlungsreich, sodass man nie die Lust verliert, das Spiel fortzusetzen. Zudem ist die Action wirklich fesselnd und es gibt Boss-Gegner, die wirklich groß sind, so wie man es sich wünscht. Die Spielzeit ist zwar mit 2-3 Stunden nicht besonders lang, aber hinreichend für eine begeisterte Rezension wie diese :-) Ich hoffe sehr, dass es vielleicht mal weitere Levels geben wird, denn Twisted Arrow ist einfach klasse!
