Tropical Air Hockey

Runs like crap on Rift S :(

This game is still in Early Access. This review may change as updates are made. The dev's are fast to respond and assist with issues. I have had the chance to play the game. The control options still pop up in the system, but can easily select a pre-made control scheme that matches my vive. The game is pretty fun with the different game modes. Would be alot better with multiplayer. At the moment you can tell it's very early access, but I have high hopes for this game as I love table hockey and what they currently have kind of scratched that itch. Worth the try at this price.

So i got this game in a bundle and on sale, and i played it for about an hour, i found it really addictive trying to beat the AI and all the fun modes this game has. I loved the crazy little characters and graphics were also enjoyable, the music was really relaxing too, so it was a very pleasant experience! I always loved playing air hockey so this was a must for me :) I would absolutely love this game if it had multiplayer so that i can play with my friends! As much as i can see the devs are still developing this game so i have high hopes for the final version! Get it guys, it's really a steal.

Fun little game with nice visuals and funny striker avatars. But I cannot get the striker in hand, my hand falls too short and I can barely grab the striker. Maybe it's a problem with iVRy or/and Leap Motion that I use, so a way to adjust arm length would be great. Hvala!

A very good game that let you have some simple fun alone, what is missing is a MP option, but yet for the price is a very good game.

I cannot recommend this game in its current state. The graphics are cartoony and low res, yet I still experienced constant frame rate drops. The puck will sometimes completely stop moving right next to the AI opponent without the opponent moving to return the puck. And the puck will sometimes start moving very fast on its own. I would much rather play the air hockey table in Sports Bar VR.

For $3.99 and being early access i think it was a good choice for me. To make it clear i desided to split my review in 3 categories: Graphic, Gameplay and Price. - 10/10 I must admit that graphics are pretty awesome and im very comfortable being on the sunny tropical island. - 8/10 The gameplay is quite good, game is working smooth on my 1060 GPU, but i miss some things like a scoreboard or multiplayer. - 10/10 In general the price is main thing for me when i get games. This game has a super cheap price if we consider what I got for that money.

When I was a kid I love play this game in real life and now I can play it anytime I want it. There are several modes, the normal one and other ones more interesting adding features like a mario kart setting traps or boosting things.
