Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is so much fun! At first it seemed to be way to easy until I got to the 6th or 7th ascencion. Its easy enough for my kids to play at the lower tiers and hard enough to make a serious challenge to beat the 10th Ascension. Unlocked everything and now going for achievements. I cant wait until the new characters come out! Hopefully there's lots of DLCs to come!

I really do enjoy and can't wait more coming and please support developer just go for it! it worst your money!! Go to try Demo and you will see how awesome it is!

Great game you should buy, especially on sale as it's quite reasonable for an indie in 2026. Combat is really enjoyable and not something I've encountered outside of fighting games. In-run gear upgrades are somewhat linear and obvious but still a nice option. Enemy / scene variety COULD be better, but there's still plenty here, especially with the various classes (most of which you need to play to unlock). Hope the dev keeps on supporting. Truly a hidden gem.
Trials of Valor is an action roguelike RPG developed and published by Armored Goblin that focuses on skill-driven combat, character customization, and replayable progression. Rather than relying on overwhelming numbers of enemies or flashy spectacle, the game places its emphasis on carefully timed attacks, defensive maneuvers, and tactical decision-making. From the beginning, it is clear that success is tied to player skill as much as character growth, creating an experience that rewards patience, adaptability, and mastery of its combat systems. At the heart of the game is a real-time combat system built around dodging, blocking, and striking at the right moment. Encounters demand attention because enemies possess distinct attack patterns and behaviors that must be learned and countered. Combat feels deliberate and challenging, encouraging players to observe opponents instead of charging into battle recklessly. This design gives every victory a satisfying sense of accomplishment, especially during tougher encounters where timing and positioning become critical factors. Players who enjoy demanding action games will appreciate the emphasis on precision and mechanical skill. The roguelike structure adds significant replay value through randomized progression. Each run unfolds across a board game-inspired map where players choose their route through various encounters, treasure opportunities, and dangerous battles. These decisions influence the resources and upgrades acquired during a run, making strategy important even outside combat. Because no two journeys unfold exactly the same way, the game consistently provides fresh scenarios that encourage experimentation and exploration. Character development is one of the strongest aspects of Trials of Valor. A wide variety of abilities, statistics, equipment pieces, and charms allow players to create unique builds tailored to their preferred playstyle. Weapons and gear feature randomized modifiers that can dramatically alter performance, encouraging players to adapt their strategies around newly discovered equipment. The charm system further expands customization possibilities by introducing powerful effects that can transform how a run unfolds. This combination of randomness and player choice creates a rewarding progression loop that keeps experimentation engaging across multiple playthroughs. The class system contributes additional depth by offering different combat approaches and ability selections. Each class presents its own strengths and tactical opportunities, motivating players to try new builds and strategies. Whether focusing on survivability, aggressive offense, or balanced versatility, the available options provide meaningful variety. This diversity works well with the randomized nature of the game, ensuring that repeated runs remain interesting rather than repetitive. Enemy variety also plays a major role in maintaining engagement. The game features numerous foes with distinct strengths, weaknesses, and combat styles that require different responses from the player. Boss encounters serve as major highlights, testing both combat proficiency and build effectiveness. These battles often feel like the culmination of a run, demanding concentration and strategic planning to overcome. Combined with multiple environments and maps, the enemy roster helps maintain a strong sense of progression and discovery. Visually, Trials of Valor adopts a straightforward fantasy aesthetic that prioritizes gameplay clarity. Animations are readable, effects are easy to track, and the overall presentation supports the fast-paced combat without becoming visually cluttered. While it may not possess the production values of a large-budget release, the art direction effectively complements the gameplay by ensuring players can clearly react to threats and opportunities during intense battles. The game’s difficulty may prove intimidating for some players. Its roguelike structure means failure is an expected part of the learning process, and progress often comes through improved understanding rather than simple grinding. However, this challenge is also one of the game’s greatest strengths. Each successful run feels earned, and the gradual mastery of combat mechanics creates a compelling sense of achievement that keeps players returning for another attempt. Overall, Trials of Valor successfully combines roguelike replayability, RPG customization, and skill-based action combat into a cohesive package. Its deep progression systems, varied build options, strategic map navigation, and demanding battles create an experience that consistently rewards experimentation and perseverance. While the steep difficulty curve may not appeal to every player, those who enjoy challenging action RPGs with strong replay value will find a great deal to admire in this indie adventure. The good news: it's literally one night of code edits to make this a great little game. The bad news: I have never seen a game less respectful of its players' time. What the actual ♥♥♥♥. Content is gated in such a way that you'll have to grind a lot just to try / access *basic* gameplay content. I don't mean like "progression", but honestly the most basic content. And you can't even grind playing styles you like, because everything is gated behind very specific kids of gameplay. Zero ability to direct your gameplay style, as everything is pure RNG, and you can't even count on buying healing potions. Like... buying the game basically gets you the demo version until you grind a ton. Dev really, really needs to just allow the basic classes to be played out the gate. Having to grind to unlock sub-classes is fine enough, but the amount of gameplay required to get the magic-user class is absurd, and just feels like a big f-you to anyone who prefers that style. Clearly built around the idea of meta-progression, with a guaranteed "die and try again" loop, but there is ZERO meta-progression. You just die and start over. (yes, there are some coin-shop things, but the impact on the next run is basically zero). And again, your next run will be something you might not enjoy, because you have to play that exact thing in order to hopefully, one day, unlock the rest of the base game so you can try play-styles you actually might like / why you got the game in the first place. And you can't even mitigate this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and push the play-style more in the direction you'd like to try, because all progression is just RNG for what's in a shop. The actual gameplay is good - it's just hidden behind some really bad game-design choices.
fast paced dark souls but as a 1v1 fighting arena.
