Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

1 copy sold = 1 real tree planted. I will personally be planting the trees on local farms and schools, and looking after them for years to come. If the game is popular I will also be planting wildflowers and creating new flower meadows too! Meaning if you buy Treeplanter you’ll help restore real life nature too!!

Welcome to Treeplanter, an interactive woodland that changes with the seasons. Piece together a small grove of trees. Watch as their roots blossom under the soil.
Features:
A soothing interactive toybox for fans of games like Summerhouse and Tiny Glade!
Piece together woodland with a playful lego-like design!
Procedural creatures turn your grove into a living landscape!
Watch the woodland change throughout the different seasons!
Learn about the natural world above and below!

Based on what you place and build, an ecosystem of animals, plants and birds will move in, turning your creation into their home!

Combining meditation and education, Treeplanter aims to teach players about the interconnected wonders of the natural world, above and below ground.

The Treeplanter prototype was co-created with a small team of rural young people, aged 18-20, they created the majority of the art, visual effects and also did cool things like the fungi and root growing systems! They were paid and mentored thanks to funding from the Eastern Education Group, and were directed by me (Henry). Then we finished Treeplanter off with help from talented friends. Big thanks to everyone, especially Rianna Suen (lead code) and Halime Karaca (lead art).
Please keep in mind that this is a small game with no goals or challenges, created by Henry with help from his friends, as well as students - it's all about creating small but beautiful dioramas, using the tools and items from the game alongside the influences of nature :)

Treeplanter: Plant real trees is a peaceful and surprisingly heartfelt sandbox experience that focuses less on traditional gameplay systems and more on creativity, relaxation, and environmental appreciation. Developed by Henry Driver, Rianna Suen, and Halime Karaca and published by Future Friends Games, the project invites players to slowly build living forests while supporting a real-world tree planting initiative connected to every purchase. Instead of presenting itself as a competitive management simulator or survival game, Treeplanter creates a quiet digital space where players can experiment with nature, shape landscapes, and simply enjoy the calming process of watching ecosystems grow over time. The gameplay is intentionally simple and accessible. Players begin with an empty environment and gradually populate it with trees, plants, decorations, and natural elements that can be adjusted freely. Trees can be resized, repositioned, and combined with other environmental features to create unique woodland scenes. There are no strict objectives, timers, or penalties pushing the player forward. The game instead encourages creativity and relaxation, allowing players to shape the environment at their own pace. This lack of pressure becomes one of the experience’s greatest strengths because it transforms the game into something closer to a meditative creative tool than a traditional sandbox simulator. One of the most satisfying aspects of Treeplanter is watching the environment slowly come to life. As players continue adding vegetation and decorations, wildlife begins appearing naturally throughout the ecosystem. Birds, insects, and small animals gradually populate the forest, creating the feeling that the environment is genuinely evolving. Weather systems and seasonal changes further enhance this effect, giving the landscapes a dynamic quality despite the game’s minimalist structure. Watching leaves change colors, fog settle across forests, or rain fall through carefully designed woodland scenes creates an atmosphere that feels calming and emotionally rewarding. Visually, the game is beautiful in a soft and understated way. The art style resembles a handcrafted miniature world filled with warm lighting and colorful natural scenery. Rather than aiming for realism, Treeplanter embraces a cozy and stylized presentation that makes every environment feel inviting. Seasonal transitions and lighting changes are especially impressive because they dramatically alter the mood of each landscape without requiring complex visuals. The game often feels more like an interactive digital diorama than a conventional simulation title, and that artistic direction helps give it a very distinct identity. The sound design contributes heavily to the relaxing atmosphere. Gentle ambient music plays quietly in the background while environmental sounds such as rustling leaves, rainfall, birdsong, and wind help make the forests feel alive. The audio is intentionally subtle, designed to create calm rather than excitement. Long play sessions become surprisingly soothing because the game encourages players to slow down and simply observe the environment they have created. The soundtrack may become repetitive over time, but the overall soundscape remains effective throughout the experience. What truly separates Treeplanter from many other cozy sandbox games is its environmental message. The game quietly teaches players about ecosystems, wildlife, and environmental balance through interaction rather than direct instruction. More importantly, the developers connect the project to actual tree planting efforts, giving the experience a sense of sincerity and purpose beyond simple entertainment. Knowing that the game supports real-world environmental restoration adds emotional weight to the otherwise peaceful gameplay and makes the project feel more meaningful than many simulation games built around nature themes. At the same time, the game’s minimalist structure will not appeal to everyone. Players looking for progression systems, management complexity, or long-term gameplay challenges may find the experience too passive after several hours. Treeplanter is deliberately calm and uneventful, focusing entirely on atmosphere and creativity rather than structured objectives. Once players have built a forest they enjoy, there are few systems encouraging further progression beyond personal experimentation and aesthetic design. The pacing can also feel extremely slow compared to most sandbox or simulation games. There are no dramatic events, survival mechanics, or evolving storylines driving the experience forward. For some players, this peaceful simplicity will feel refreshing and therapeutic. Others may eventually lose interest because of the limited gameplay depth and repetitive structure. The experience depends heavily on whether players connect emotionally with the atmosphere and creative freedom being offered. Despite those limitations, Treeplanter succeeds because it fully commits to its identity as a relaxing environmental sandbox. It never tries to overwhelm players with unnecessary systems or artificial complexity. Instead, it focuses entirely on creating a soothing and visually appealing experience centered around nature, creativity, and restoration. The sincerity behind the project’s environmental goals also helps the game feel more personal and genuine than many cozy indie releases. Treeplanter: Plant real trees ultimately stands out as a calming and emotionally sincere experience that blends creative sandbox gameplay with environmental awareness. Its beautiful seasonal visuals, relaxing audio design, evolving ecosystems, and real-world tree planting initiative create an experience that feels peaceful, thoughtful, and surprisingly memorable. While the lack of challenge and long-term depth may limit its appeal for some players, those searching for a cozy and meditative nature-focused experience will likely find it deeply rewarding.
This is a little gem for me. It's a very cosy game with such beautiful music. When you play you get information about plants and animals along the way and when planting/decorate animals come to your wood, it's so cute to see. I love also the fact when it rains and you scroll to the top of your screen the rain is falling slower like the world pauzes a little. The nature sounds are so relaxing. It's in the little details but I love it a lot so far. PS Polly the dog you are such a cutie <3
Beautiful game, lovely music, and a relaxing and lightly educational gameplay. Plus a wonderful mission of course :)
While I've only played through the tutorial, I can confidently recommend Treeplanter. The videos and screenshots do not do the graphics justice. In the game, the lighting looks stunning and the music is incredibly relaxing. There are plenty of options for building your own landscapes that I'm sure many people will find creative uses for. If you're on the fence, consider it worth the price of a real tree being planted.
A game that actually makes the world better. Treeplanter is not just a game – it’s a peaceful experience with a real purpose behind it. You’re not here to rush, fight or grind… you’re here to create, observe and slow down. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing, almost meditative. Watching your little woodland come to life – with seasons changing, creatures appearing and the ecosystem evolving – feels genuinely satisfying. But what truly makes this game stand out is its mission: for every copy sold, a real tree is planted. 🌱 That alone turns every minute spent in-game into something meaningful beyond the screen. Steam Bolt It’s rare to see a project where creativity, education and real-world impact meet so naturally. If you enjoy cozy, atmospheric experiences like Tiny Glade or Summerhouse – or if you simply want to support something positive – this is an easy recommendation. A small game with a big heart. 💚
*Note: I have not actually played this game for 14 hours... I left it open overnight. I LOVE this game! It's very simple and while there's not a ton of different things to do, taking a break from fast-paced games from time to time is refreshing. No combat, no currency, no grind. It won't be my daily non-stop mind-occupier, but it'll be lovely to make a new scene every once in a while!
This is such a pleasant and fantastic idea! Each game purchase plants a tree with communities and schools, I love that so much! In return we get something very beautiful, like a piece of art (and it's affordable too!). It's fantastic! How can anyone dislike this unless they hate trees, but then buying and leaving a bad review means they planted a tree lol. Anyways, keep going strong, I love seeing a project do something that goes beyond itself like that. <3
The art in this is stunning!
