The small interactive details in the background also help give the levels a bit more personality. That said, the experience is held back by a few frustrating design choices. The biggest issue is the lack of a save system or even temporary progress retention. Accidentally pressing ESC or opening settings can completely reset your progress, which feels unnecessarily punishing for such a chill game. On top of that, the brightness and visual contrast were uncomfortable for me even with dark mode enabled, making longer sessions difficult to enjoy. The forced ad at launch also breaks immersion immediately.
