Trap Trek: Ultimate Other Me

[Full disclosure: I have started speedrunning this game, so my hour count and reverence for the title must be taken with a grain of salt; I may have developed Stockholm Syndrome.] This game is like Only Up meets I Wanna Be The Guy - janky Unreal based default climbing controls combined with deliberately punishing and obtuse level design. There is no controller support out the gate but movement and jumping work, so I used Joy2Key to map the remaining functions (rolling, spawning avatars). Your special power in this game is the ability to spawn a lifeless, ragdoll clone of yourself (Avatars) and then yeet them into harm's way, setting off traps so that you can then proceed. The gameplay is a fun loop of learning each stage - what to do, how and when, with an added "for fun" aspect of trying to do it while using as little Avatars as possible. Each level also has 3 coins that are hidden, rewarding further exploration. This game is very simple, with funky physics and glitches - do not expect an incredibly long and well crafted game. But for the asking price of less than $5, what is here will definitely provide you your money's worth - but... and I cannot stress this enough, ONLY if you like this kind of hard-on-purpose, troll you every step of the way gameplay. Then, oh then my friends, it becomes a diamond in the rough. Details: 8 levels, plus 5 more "Challenge" levels. Some levels have multiple exits that can be used to unlock later levels!

エンディングまでクリアしました！ 死にゲーと鬼畜ゲーがうまく組み合わさったゲームで、 回数こなしてルートと技術を覚えればクリアできるかと思います！ 途中心折れそうになりましたが、クリア後の達成感など病みつきになります(^^) 癖のある世界観が好きな方には尚オススメです！

理不尽で世界観独特過ぎてわけわかんないし、同じように蹴っても同じように飛ばないし、なかなかにヤバいゲーム。 でも自分は好きだ。 トロコンもしたし、ステージもっと欲しいと思ってしまう。

非常に面白かったです。 運要素がなく、技術要素が高いアクションゲームとなっているので、おすすめです。 心残りなのは、extraステージ４と５の解放条件が分からず、プレイできなかったことです。
