Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

About

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; GOG, Epic publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.
Updates
Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

noone is ideal, but this is one of best tries. after 100+ hours of free game campaign was infuriating a bit, but mostly interesting. i suppose it feels better to do campaign first best part of this tycoon - QoL and simplicity. maybe this is best "first tycoon" game

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

so many bugs. I realy tryed to play this but i get stuk like every houre :(
Essentially, Transport Fever 2 (never played the first one) is Chris Sawyer's Transport Tycoon (1994), fully modernized to meet today's management sim standards. It plays well, looks great, and performs adequately. Rail-based logistics seem unfairly expensive to build and maintain. Most locomotives are over $10,000,000, and maintenance charges are commonly in the hundreds of thousands. Perhaps I'm playing this wrong insofar as my trains are far too short, but it's a little unreasonable. Road-based logistics have insane ROI in comparison. I don't expect stellar optimization, nor to be catered to with an RTX 2060, but sometimes the framerate falls off a cliff. Building large stations or observing areas of high vehicle density tank the performance. On the bright side, however, full mod support with an in-game search engine is the most valuable feature here. Mods can add new industry chains, new vehicles, new maps, new building mechanics, anything you could possibly need to play this however you want. I've read reviews from people who play it like a transport management sim, and from people who play it like a virtual model railroad builder. There is no wrong way to play, and that's beautiful. A third game is on the way, and after playing this one, I'll absolutely be looking out. 8/10
