Transcendence Legacy - Voidswept

[b]Fully played on Steam Deck.[/b] Transcendence Legacy - Voidswept is a short JRPG, which has some resemblances to the Octopath Series. Personally, I enjoyed the few hours I sank into it. I somehow wished the story was a bit longer, especially a few more cutscenes at the end would have been good, in my opinion. Nevertheless, you start with two named characters, which both have lost their memories and only recall that someone called out to them. On the way to the mentioned location, you meet other people, who join your party, and walk through a few dungeons to kill some 'super bosses'. The gameplay wasn't overly complicated, but I wished there was more information on what the stats do and how strong the skills are. Which stat boosts my outgoing healing for example? Also, what do the skill upgrades do? (+3 on a skill upgrade reduces the mana cost by one... but what of the rest? Are they just improving efficiency? If so, by how much?) I would have really loved to see more in-depth skill description including values (before and after upgrade) of how much dmg they do. After getting the AoE skills, I never bothered to use single target spells again... However... I am still unsure, at this point, if this was a good decision. I wouldn't be surprised if the single target spells would have a higher dmg output. :) I think I should have built my Zion differently... Oh well. Besides that, I think it was still a few nice hours playing this game and if you like pixel graphic old-school JRPGs, then maybe this game hits your spot. :)

Nice! This one is just for you if you are bored with a lot of hentai rpg maker stuff that oversupplies on the steam store! The real rpg maker games!

It is a unique game covered with a small chibi-like anime-style character but has dark stories about catastrophe. The game is much more challenging than average anime-style turn-based rpg like persona or final fantasy, but that's the point. It looks like the dark soul of jrpg ^^ It's good this game has a difficulty option, so people who like the game must be challenging to find it's fun to play I love the expert difficulty. It suits me well. Good job for Xurzerth. Hope you gonna make another hardcore rpg like this again XD
