Historia: El guion logra un equilibrio perfecto —sin caer en el cinismo excesivo ni en la frivolidad—, lo que lo convierte en una delicia para los amantes de las historias de viajes. Todos los personajes están escritos con esmero, por lo que es fácil cogerles cariño. Dificultad: El juego ofrece opciones que van desde ajustes para quienes solo quieren disfrutar de la historia hasta desafíos para los jugadores más exigentes que desean dedicar decenas de horas a la experiencia; la atención prestada al jugador es excepcional. Jugabilidad: El ritmo es ágil y no hay encuentros aleatorios, lo que garantiza una experiencia libre de estrés; además, la función de velocidad doble aumenta la comodidad. Construcción del mundo: Incluso los personajes no jugables (NPC) de pueblos y aldeas tienen nombre; observar sus reacciones y cómo cambian a medida que avanza la historia pone de manifiesto el cariño que los desarrolladores han puesto en el juego. Otros aspectos: En general, es un juego sumamente agradable y accesible; dado que la aventura de cada jugador genera recuerdos únicos e inolvidables, recomiendo encarecidamente probarlo.

I liked the combat, was good. The story goes at a pretty relaxing pace, but that might be because I stopped to talk to all the npcs after completing main story missions. I'm excited for the second chapter remake.

An outstanding remake of an all time classic and a great way to get newer players into the series. No endless amounts of cameos and character bloat that newer trails games suffer from(as much as I love Rean falcom needs to actually let go and maybe start something new). This game is purely story telling and world building which is what Falcom does best.

This is easily one of the best JRPGs I've ever played. It's somewhat of a slow burn, but I can't stress enough that everything in this game is setup that is paid off in gold later on. The combat is a constantly evolving system that is enhanced by a revolving cast of playable characters, and just a comparison of earlygame and endgame gameplay shows a night-and-day difference. On the whole this game's story and writing is just superb. There were no wasted moments and I really felt the genuine passion and love this team had for the world and its characters. I honestly can't recommend it enough, and I am so, so excited to play 2nd Chapter when it releases.

I never played the original, but this is one of the best JRPGs I’ve ever played. I was absolutely hooked. This game has the best battle system I’ve ever encountered. The voice acting was so good! I’m a big stickler when it comes to voice acting and they nailed it. Highly recommend if you’re a JRPG fan!

Fun game, would recommend normal difficulty and enhanced speed for full enjoyment but overall not bad.

I have been playing trails from 10 years or so and I have played all 10 games ( Planning to buy trails beyond the horizon). As an avid fan of this series, I gotta say, I'm quite impressed with how this was remade. It felt nostalgic. I just have 1 thing to suggest, It's during the turn based combat, where usually, like all the other trails games, I can use the S-break and steal the opponents bonus on that turn (especially critical). However, this feature isn't present on this one. Overall though, as far as I've played on this game, It's amazing and entertaining, hopefully you'll patch and fix the turn based issue though.
