Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter

I get it now. I had this game on my radar since it came out to PSP and PC back in the days. But while interested and liking the song "Silver Will" I never made it past the prologue. But with the remake...I get it now. Played through the entire game, did all the side quests and even got the ultimate weapons for our main duo. I love the worldbuilding in this. I adore that every NPCs dialogue evolves based on their own little story while we move through our story. E.g I had a pair of lovers in the prologue and saw them later in the final chapter doing their date they planned in the early game. That is attention to detail I love. Some minor remarks: The OST while great can be sometimes to repetative (not the main combat theme. That is banger I will never get tired off). And the story is good, but is defnitly on the slow cooking end. But there are layers to the characters which are paying off later or are only teased at and hopefully will find their resolution in later games. So a definitiv yes from me, but you need to have some patience with it

Great smooth and charming remake

A truly fantastic game that I can't wait to see the end of in chapter 2. A great way to learn the series if you don't want to dive into the isometric classic JRPG. Their latest "legacy" patch dealt with a lot of questionable translation changes from the OG. Def recommend if you like a meaty JRPG>

I have some experience with the JRPG genre, but I'm a newbie to the «The Legend of Heroes» series. So, the remake served as an excellent entry point into the series. And it didn't disappoint me. The game is great. I’d like to highlight the unusual combat system - a blend of turn-based combat, like in «Persona», and real-time action. It feels fresh. The plot is also pretty good. The chemistry between Estelle and Joshua runs through the entire story, and it is quite interesting to watch. The other characters are also quite well-written. If you're a JRPG fan, you'll definitely enjoy this game. Or if you are new to the genre and want to give it a try, this game is an excellent choice.

hard to improve on the good old top down jrpg feel, but the game is beautiful. perfectly scratches my nostalgia itch, and then some

An amazing JRPG and a remake that does do justice to the IP it remakes. It's rare you find a remake have such passion in its source material.

オープニングで挫けかけた。 評判が良いため、セール時に購入。 古い作品であるためか、オープニングが長い上に演出が悪い意味で古臭く、挫けかけた。 フルボイスで次々スキップできない導入は、現代では人を選ぶと思う。
