Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 6.71/day in the week to Sep 15 → 17.71/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
A masterpiece
I have never played a Trails Game before and didn´t even know I was a JRPG fan until now. I write this review after having just finished the story for the first time and will say that this is a 10/10 game, a new favorite, but not without its flaws.
The negatives:
-> Not every dialogue is voice acted, which is fine, however when dialogue gets VA and when not in this game needs to be studied. Sometimes random NPC´s with the same face of dozens of others gets voice lines, while quests that directly progress the main story don´t. Sometimes a dialogue starts with VA, but ends in subtitles only, sometimes vice versa. In general im very happy with the quality of VA in this game, just wished for more ig. -> The costumes can be quite buggy in cutscenes, especially different haircuts. It also can happen that in random cases your costumes don´t show and default costumes are used, which doesn´t feel intentional because even in cutscenes where having different costumes on leads to the cutscene not making sense anymore, the costume remains unchanged. -> The balancing feels a bit weird. Because you can get quite OP, by engaging in all the mechanics the game has to offer, the mid and late game can get quite easy [Nightmare difficulty], whereas the Prologue and 1st chapter have ridiculous power spikes. I started this game on either medium or hard (don´t remember) and swapped to Nightmare in Chapter 2 because the game started to feel too easy, however the game didn´t get that much harder, mostly more tedious. Nightmare difficulty mostly bloats enemy HP, leading to longer fights. That technically makes the game harder, but often in an unengaging way. Even though I started on like medium difficulty and played everything on Nightmare since Chapter 2, the two hardest fights of the game were in the prologue.
The positives:
-> Honestly everything that I didn´t list as a negative is probably a positive. -> Interesting story of epic proportion. -> Even greater Worldbuilding. -> Even greater Characters and character development. -> Fantastic music. -> Fantastic combat system. Having both quick battle strategy battle is a great idea and worked amazingly. -> The character building, left a lot of freedom. You can play the game in a lot of different ways and build your party at your hearts desire. -> Loot was given in perfect amounts. -> Estelle

Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter to klasyczne JRPG, które początkowo potrafi postawić przed graczem spore wyzwanie. Pierwsze godziny mogą być wymagające, szczególnie podczas walk z silniejszymi przeciwnikami, ponieważ gra wymaga poznania swoich mechanik i odpowiedniego przygotowania drużyny. Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter jest więc produkcją, która potrzebuje trochę czasu, aby w pełni pokazać swoje możliwości. Ocenka 8.5./10
This was my first Trails game, and honestly, I enjoyed it. To start off, there is a lot of filler here. I understand that Trails is supposed to take its time and let you get to know its world and characters, but there were quite a few moments where I felt like the game was just taking the long way around. I also found the level design pretty basic overall, although I can forgive that considering this is a relatively faithful remake of a 2006 game. The story is basically “all anime: the anime”. It has pretty much every JRPG/anime cliché imaginable. And somehow, I still enjoyed it. I ended up caring about the characters and getting invested in what was happening despite how predictable some of it could be. The final part is what really sold me on the game, though. The plot twists and all the new lore completely changed how I saw the story. I really liked how this relatively small-scale adventure suddenly opened up into something much bigger. It definitely left me curious about where the series is going. I also really enjoyed the gameplay. The combat is great, and 2x speed was a godsend. Being able to retry fights with weaker enemies after dying was another feature I really appreciated. I didn't grind at all throughout the entire game. I did rush through it and finished everything in around 27 hours, but even then I never felt ridiculously underleveled, including for the final boss. I do wish there were more weapons and armor, though, and I would have liked more interesting ways to experiment with orbments and find stronger synergies between them. Visually, the game looks fantastic, but the sound department felt pretty weak to me. I would have liked much more voice acting and more actual cinematics instead of having important moments play out through fairly cheap-looking dialogue scenes with little or no voice work. Overall, I'm glad I played it. The characters, gameplay, presentation and especially the final stretch won me over. I definitely want to play the second chapter now, but probably not immediately. I will need a little break before doing all of this all over again. Score: 4/5
