Have you ever wanted to be a toy tinker? Here you can take the first step to become one! This is a tiny portion of Toy Tinker Simulator, which includes only ten toys.

I am a self proclaimed "The Prologue Guy" and i do NOT approve of this half baked. ಠ╭╮ಠ
Toy Tinker Simulator: BETA is a small repair simulator built around something I do not see very often in games, fixing toys. I get my own little workshop and work through damaged toys by taking them apart, cleaning them, sanding them, painting them and putting everything back together. The idea is pretty simple, but I actually like how relaxing it can feel when I am just working through one repair at a time. It is also worth remembering that this is only a beta version and it contains ten toys, so I am judging it as a small preview rather than expecting it to have everything from the full game. The repair process is easily the best part for me. I am not just pressing one button and watching a progress bar. Different toys can need different jobs such as cleaning, painting, sandblasting, coating, sanding, sewing and stuffing, so there is a nice little routine to working through them. I also get to take before and after photos, which makes the restoration feel a bit more satisfying because I can actually see the difference between the damaged toy I started with and the finished one. I also like that there is a small business side to the idea. Repairing toys earns me money and experience, which I can then use to improve my workshop and buy furniture and equipment. There is also the idea of starting toy museums by buying and repairing unique toys, along with master toys that become available as I level up. These systems are fairly basic in the beta, but they give me something to work towards instead of making the repairs feel completely disconnected from progression. The biggest problem for me is the limited amount of content. Ten toys is not a lot, especially when the main gameplay loop is built around repairing them. Once I have worked through the available toys and learned the different repair steps, there is not much left to discover in this version. I think the concept has room for much more variety, especially if later toys require more complicated repairs or introduce new tools and problems. As a beta, I can understand the limited scope, but it still affects how much I can get out of the game right now. I also think some of the controls and interactions could be smoother. There are moments where the simulator feels more awkward than it needs to, and the simple repair tasks can become repetitive when there is not enough variation between them. The workshop and museum ideas sound more interesting than they actually feel in such a small version because there simply is not enough content around them yet. I can see the foundation of a relaxing simulator here, but I would want the full experience to make the progression and toy variety much deeper. Overall, Toy Tinker Simulator: BETA is a pleasant little simulator with a genuinely different idea. I like taking damaged toys apart, cleaning them, repairing them and watching them come back together, and the workshop progression gives the process a little more purpose. The ten toy limit and repetitive nature of the available content are the main things holding it back, but that is also the point of this beta. I would not judge it as if it were supposed to be a huge finished simulator. As a free introduction to the idea, I think it does enough to show why the concept could work, even if this version runs out of things to do fairly quickly. Rating: 7.6/10

Free verzia má dostupných iba 10 kontraktov, čo je asi dobré, pretože ak by ich bolo omnoho viac, hra by pravdepodobne skoro omrzela. Jediné negatívum čo som našiel je vcelku neohrabané ovládanie po pracovisku, čo už tu spomínal aj iný užívateľ.
for free overall alright.
Potwornie nudna renowacja zabawek, jest dużo szczegółowych i powtarzalnych prac. Osiągnięcia Steam są banalnie łatwe i grindowanie 100% zajmie niecałą godzinę. Polecam dla dzieci oraz łowcom trofeów, zasłużone 5,1/10.
