I was scrolling through Steam late at night, bored and craving something light, when I stumbled on a tiny, oddly charming battle royale. I clicked it, and the first thing that hit me was the absurdity of a balloon crossbow and an inflatable hammer. I laughed so hard I nearly dropped my mouse. The lobby was a handful of players, all of them laughing at the clunky physics. I remember the first time I tried to shoot an enemy with the balloon crossbow and the arrow just bounced off the ground like a rubber ball, making me feel like a child in a physics sandbox. Within the first ten minutes, the chaos escalated. I was in a small, crumbling house, and a friend from the chat decided to drop a grenade on a pile of broken wooden beams. The explosion sent me flying, and for a split second I was suspended in midair, looking down at the ground as if it were a cartoon. That moment, the sudden absurdity of being thrown around like a rag doll, was the kind of adrenaline that makes you want to keep playing. The game’s humor is built into every wobble and slip, and I found myself chuckling at my own missteps. What keeps pulling me back is the sheer unpredictability. One minute you’re sprinting through a forest, and the next you’re stuck in a pile of mud, unable to move until the physics engine decides you’re a statue.
