Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.29/day in the week to Aug 16 → 5.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Ein Klassiker , der auch 2026 gut funktioniert!
Coming from later titles like Rome 2, Rome remastered feels design with longer horizons. Roads don't exist in a region by default, you need to build them for you armies to move faster ( no forced march or army stance system ). To dig an army in, you spend a hunk of gold to build a fort ( which will de-spawn if left empty for more than 1 turn ). Generals aren't recruited they're born, so losing one is rough and playing Rome they're tied to some immense political power, potentially being your senators. And the list goes on, but it's surprisingly pleasant to have to consider the bigger picture and plan infrastructure to conduct effective defense and offense. The AI also seems smarter than other entries of the series. I've had Gaul armies feint to draw aggro the map for then another Gaul army to sneak through an obscure mountain pass to try to breach my heartland. Thankfully I had a retraining army in the area that conducted a heroic defense of the mountain pass. Beyond strategic AI which is fanastic, the tactical AI seems better but fighting the Gauls muddles the waters a bit. The Gaul units have a downside of possibly charging without orders. Which causes them to be tactically quite recklessly at times for no fault of the tactical AI. I've experienced Gaul armies charge up-hill or have their cavalry charge early isolating themselves. Though credit to the tactical AI, it makes use of flanking and will aggressive use a number advantage to elongate battle lines. Once, it's clear a non-settlement battle can't be won the AI will withdraw in good order to preserve its strength. On defense, I've only had to deal with wooden walls at worst. The AI does put some fight up the gates but seem to prefer fighting in the alley ways around the settlement flag, which has the advantage of rallying routing defenders. This makes settlement attacks very bloody, and it means I'm fighting the AI to a man, rather than to a route. I can't comment much else on settlement attacks, so far I've had the greater strength than defenders. The one time I attacked a Gaul settlement with equal defenders, I had a spy throw the gate open and fight a set piece field battle in the settlement which I had a far better army comp for than the AI ( again, I suspect it wasn't the tactical AI fault, it's clear the better cities are West with the bulk of the Gaul, which is likely way the sat AI was so ready to give the cities up with just a token fight ).

love this game
一直闪退没法玩。
one of the best games of all time.
на мою думку це певно найкраща гра від total war. А за українську мову окремо вдячний дуже хороша робота.
Like the political and economy management plus the real old school battle RTS.
