Total War: ROME REMASTERED lets you relive the legacy that defined the award-winning strategy game series. Remastered to 4K with multiple improvements to visuals as well as refinements to gameplay, it’s time to revisit a true classic. Not everyone gets a second chance to conquer the Roman Empire.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.29/day in the week to Aug 16 → 5.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Gods, I hate Gauls. My grandfather hated them too. Even before they put out his eyes~Julii The Scipii...TRASH! The Julii? Prostitute themselves as if the people matter! BAH! ~Brutii The children kept me up last night and Baal sent me a vision of Cathage's fall, I think the Children will be quiet tonight ~Carthage OG intro's are still King an filled to the Brim with madness and arrogance but I do love the Remastered as well, I played this a countless amount of times when I was little and this feels like a nice love letter to simpler times in Total War but also lots of better and lost mechanics that never quite made it into modern Total Wars. Rome my beloved!! You've come back to me!!!!! This remaster really keeps the feel and vibe of the original with a more optimized UI, beautiful maps and graphical additions and effects while still using the system we all know and love from the OG. Plus not 5 thousand DLC's for factions and effects but instead a free graphics DLC coupled with lots of workshop mods. If you know and love Rome Total War you'll love this Remaster and you can mod things from the original if you wish as the community is very alive and kicking with Imperium Surrectum back in new glory. Modders are still working on fully porting or even reinventing mods that some of us may have grown up with and played in the past like Fourth Age but even vanilla is old but gold. Barbarian Invasion is still my fav campaign to play to this day and I'll die on this hill as the Eastern Roman Empire because Byzantium an purple. Playing Huns and Goths are also awesome due to Horde mechanics of the Huns and the overall visuals of Goths being Medievally. All the factions are simple enough with a few key differences even in base game Rome. Finally despite me already mentioning Barbarian Invasion this comes with Rome:Total War, Barbarian Invasion and Troy which is an awesome little remastered bundle. NOW GO FOURTH AND CONQUER FOR THE GLORY OF ROME IMPERATOR! or STOMP OUT THOSE ROMAN DOGS FROM YOUR ANCESTRAL HOMELAND IN THE NAME OF THE GODS!! PROTECT YOURSELF FROM THEIR RULE STRATEGOS!

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

injugable
If you liked the original back in the day this is awesome. You can decide which things they added to the game to keep in the menu. Game runs and looks better than my original copy.

Ein Klassiker , der auch 2026 gut funktioniert!
Game is not stable and crashes a lot. Not that much diffretn from the original
Was fun for the nostolgia, but having to reload your save at the start of every turn to make sure the ai's dont bug out and stop doing anything gets old real fast and once you notice it happening you cant un see it. Mods that add factions make it even worse so unless they come back and fix this (unlikey) this remaster is gonna sit in my digital trash can.
good game
Every single campaign has been nothing, but game crash after game crash, after game crash. If the point of this game, it just historical battles, custom, quick, and multiplayer, then it's absolutely not worth it. I've tried multiple different solutions for this case. Nothing worked.
