Toilet Empire Story is a pixel-art cleaning and business management sim about rebuilding a neglected public toilet and the life of the person running it. Scrub floors, serve customers, hire employees, and turn a failing family business into something you can be proud of.

Years of office life end when your boss throws a flowerpot at your head. You quit, with nowhere to go but your grandfather's rundown public toilet on the edge of town. Your new career starts with a mop, a bucket, and a lot of work.

Open at 6:30. Bring a mop.

Sweep dry dirt, mop wet stains, and scrub the fixtures. Restock paper and soap, empty the bins, and tackle the muddy footprints customers leave behind. Keep the place clean to earn tips and protect your reputation. A day/night cycle makes managing your energy part of the job.

Build a team and balance the books

Recruit employees with different roles, traits, and wages, from intern Danny to seasoned Uncle Jack. Buy supplies at the market or order deliveries, manage your warehouse, install vending machines, and advertise your business. Loans can help, but repayments still come due.

Keep your cool when the pipes don't

Blocked toilets, broken pipes, a busload of customers, and surprise health inspections can upend your day. Get hands-on with plunging, pipe repair, and cash register minigames to keep the business running.

A neighborhood worth showing up for

Meet your loud grandmother, a park poet, a young bacteria researcher, and regulars who complain but keep coming back. Side quests and conversations weave humor, family, and the search for dignity into the daily work.

Where the mop goes next

The village toilet is the starting location. Further locations are planned, including a bus station, shopping mall, luxury restaurant, a famous white building in Washington, and even the International Space Station. These are future expansion plans, with new customers, standards, and disasters.
