Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Amazing JRPG, very oldschool NES-style (I played FF1 on the NES a lot). Unlike your typical fantasy RPG fare, it has quite a lot of jokes and funny situations, character conflicts, etc. and makes it really interesting to play through. Got decently far and still working through it. The battle system seems a bit simple, but honestly it works, it's really engaging. And the community is top-notch (posted about getting stuck and got two replies in a few minutes). Highlyr ecommended if you like what you see in the trailer.
Great game, easy to get lost in the way the old FF and DQ games would get you lost. (Took me about 40 hours to get everything but "conquering the ultimate evil" which I assume is a secret boss.) Might be because I play so many JRPGs at the same time but by the time I come back to one I can't remember where I was going. Ran around the world quite a bit only to go back to the last boss I had fought and see there were doors I could open behind them. On to play Scarmonde, that's where I was going. Hope there's another game in the pipeline to look forward to after that one.
A game that is both good AND retro enough to feel like it dropped out of an NES bin at a thrift store.
This dev just makes the best retro-flavored games that both feel new and old at the same time. Great writing, interesting characters, and fun gameplay. It's like a lost NES title that you never knew you wanted. I love their stuff.
Only a few hours in but this game checks a lot of boxes for me. It has reassuringly retro visuals - the combat screen will be very familiar to JRPG fans of a certain age. The modern conveniences like dependably being able to run from battle make this a less frustrating experience than those old school games, though.
i love the fact thats its retro styled RPG , this is literally how i started my obsession with the genre, i thank steam for brining some nostalgic gaming back to the old school players.
This is a fun RPG, but it suffers from the same problem as the developer's previous game. Toward the end, the amount of random battles you fight make the bosses too easy. Otherwise, it's still a fun RPG if you want an old school vibe.
Awesome game, I felt the game was surprisingly lighthearted after playing the developer's previous game. I was blown away by the itemization, I was finding new unique equipment all the way even into the final dungeon. Next replay, will definitely try to build the characters I didn't use!
If there ever was a game that needed a place between recommend and not this is it. The gameplay is good, while it's your standard JRPG fare with turn based combat enemies do feel different enough that it never goes stale. The main drawback, and the reason I can only just barely put this as a recommend, is the writing. It tries really hard to be funny but it never is. I can't think there's a single moment in the entire game where there's any kind of serious moment. It's constantly over the top and "silly" dialogue happening. But again, it's just not funny. 6/10 - if you've played every other JRPG and want a new one, give this one a go, otherwise go play something else.
I found this game a very enjoyable experience so far. The tone of the game is rather light-hearted due to the bantering of the cast from the protagonists to the antagonists. In fact, the party are like a dysfunctional family where a few of them will kill each other before they get to the boss. ...And maybe the boss for interrupting them. Gameplay-wise? I enjoy the fact that I can use status effects on the bosses. In fact, the game in general encourages status effects in battles, so I've gotten into the habit of using them whenever I can. Adventurous spirits can find some loot to help them in their gameplay if they explore some areas earlier. ... In fact, I may had grabbed a set of equipment from a boss that I was underleveled for, but after many retries and status effects, the fight was possible. Definitely a worthwhile purchase.
