A cute and addictive remake of the classic
No está mal pero al final es solo una vuelta mas al mismo formato de juego.
Titan Attacks! succeeds precisely because it doesn't innovate—it repackages familiar dopamine triggers with just enough modern features to seem fresh. The "Very Positive" reviews reveal not quality but effectiveness at manipulating nostalgia circuits. You'll enjoy it while simultaneously resenting the time it extracts from you, trapped in a loop of diminishing returns disguised as progression.

It's literally Space Invanders with extra bits and updated skins. Basically you pay for what you get in a re-skinned classic.

A fun, very challenging (albeit seriously frustrating at times) Space Invaders spiritual successor.

I can see why it's recommended by most reviews. I'll recommend it the exact same way that I recommended the 'Pang' inspired game here on Steam. It's a decent game. But literally not as good as the game it's clearly inspired by. If you have any way to play OG Space Invaders I'd go with that personally. And I have given this a couple of hours. Like I say, it's good. Just not as good as the actual game.
An oldie that could have been a goody. Classic 2D shooter action with a store-based progression system, and some vibrant pixel visuals. Sadly, this is no longer compatible or fit for purpose (or sale) in 2025. Full-screen (or any screen) isn't properly supported on modern displays without overriding High DPI in the app's Properties. Controllers are not fully supported. You can play the game, but you must use a mouse/kb for UI, including pausing the game. Even allowing for the age of the game, this is trash. And then there's the gameplay: it's pretty easy. Right up until it isn't. Around the time of the second boss fight the game just gives up and throws the kitchen sink at you. Pass.
Still an excellent game which is no mean feat for being more than 12 years old now. While it initially feels like a pure copy of Space Invaders, it distinguishes itself as anything but. Its visual design, sound effects and music are top-notch. It's pure arcadey fun from start to end. Unfortunately, it's hamstrung by largely technical issues, like being unable to support modern resolutions and modern controllers. Here's hoping it is able to be updated in the future. Playing it with a mouse is, well, carpal tunnel-inducing.
