Through the Kill Screen

After 6 days of waiting for someone to help me pass this one part of the game when I left a post in discussion, the dev said that I needed to use the shoe to get out of the room in the yellow house. To me, that’s just crazy that someone would think of having to do that. Like, you would have to do it immediately after entering the room. I even tried to ask people in the reviews section, who had their review open for comments, for help and none of them helped me after 1 day even though they were online (I then deleted my comments on their review after the dev helped me). I even searched online for answers and nothing is there except a youtube video but that girl hasn’t continued playing the game. Anyways, after using the shoe, I tried to use the door and text comes up and then goes away. The bears come closer and they can kill you in one hit. I make my way past them and go up stairs. Talking to the evil guy does nothing. I go into the room with the computer and Gary talks to you even though he isn’t in the party. I try to use every item in the room. I then leave the house and now you are put all the back in the game near the start and softlocked in the game. It’s crazy. I then did it another way where after the text at the door went away and those bears came closer, I tapped on the door again and then Gary appeared and kick the door down. Okay, and now I leave and the kids talk about how they still have to destroy this kids computer. So I go back in and make my way up to the computer and the same thing happens. I’ve also used all the items in front of the computer. I then do it another way after leaving the yellow house and enter the other houses that I can enter cause the kid said something about the other houses having the computers. So I go into the blue door one and nothing happens with that computer and then I leave and I’m transported back earlier in the game…softlocked. I try to go all the way right where the cats are and they won’t let me through cause I need to destroy that kids computer even though we all know that there’s still computers in all the other houses cause everyone in this town is gone. But you can’t enter those houses, only a couple which is okay because going into every house would be too realistic, even though it makes sense. I then do it another way and go back to our house and go into the computer and then it brings me to the secret hideout place and again, softlocked. Even before I asked for helped, I went into the yellow house when I had 3 party members, trying to figure out what to do. When that didn’t work, I then I walked around the town and figured out by myself that you could actually get another party member. You can imagine my disappointment when I went back to the yellow house and still couldn’t make progress in the game. I didn’t even know that the 4th party member was in that place cause it was a visual mess. And thinking about it now, that party member is an optional party member. The whole transporting me to different levels of the game, only to get softlocked in them makes the game feel broken. Like, what more do I have to deal with if I continue to play the game? So many ways I tried to just progress and nothing worked. I spent way too much time playing this one area. I don’t even know how the other people who left a review beat the game or figured out that they need to quickly use the shoe in the other room. It boggles my mind that maybe they didn’t even beat the game, or they aren’t even real people, or they are the devs friends. So much headache. I took a chance the game. Just more trouble than it needed to be.
