It’s co-op space survival fun, Jim, but not as we know it. This Means Warp is an intense spaceship management roguelite experience for 1-4 players. Explore a procedurally generated universe, upgrade your ship, battle dangerous enemies and adapt your strategies to survive in a hostile galaxy.

played 5 hours straight with my buddy. played even more on PS5. bought this for another 19 bucks and it was totally worth it. The game has REMOTE PLAY and it works really well.
游戏蠢到离谱,问题有一个长篇评论已经说了,我就不重复了。 如果你想治疗低血压,那我欢迎你来体验一下这个游戏,亲测有效。

You have the option to play this in single player. Don't. You will fail almost every timed minigame where you have to collect things. You move slowly, which is the incentive to play with friends. With friends, this game is fine. Do not play it solo.
It could have been good, but it's very mediocre. The core gameplay is repetitive and fiddly (picking up and moving items like ammo, fire extinguisher, etc.). The multiplayer roles are more about manual labor than interesting mechanics. Void crew is a better multiplayer space ship game.
据说这游戏的开发人员在游戏完全发布后不到一年就离开了制作组..
This feels like the game is from 2003 not 2023... sorry..

Avoid buying this game: unpatched, game-breaking bugs make it effectively abandonware. I rarely write reviews, but this game warrants a PSA. The game isn’t expensive like a AAA title, but it’s not exactly a bargain either. I logged just under 20 hours of game play before I threw in the towel. The main reason for giving up is that there is a game-breaking bug that affects teleporters and can ruin a run at any point. The run in which you have spent considerable time to go a deep as possible only for something, completely out of your control, to break everything. This is only prevalent in multiplayer scenarios and it is possible that this is only an issue for those outside the US or with a ping to the server greater than a certain threshold. When an enemy ship uses a teleporter — or when you use one — the game will de-sync the client, other players, and the server. You remain under fire but cannot register attacks or interact with your ship. Pickups appear seconds late. Even if you briefly recover, the desync often leads to unavoidable destruction. I reported the issue to the developers via their official Discord server, but it seems there may be extenuating circumstances at play with regard to the publisher and thus the game will not receive any updates or bug fixes. The following quote from a developer was taken directly from their Discord server.
Hey, we're still around to help but unfortunately aren't able to post updates to This Means Warp We try to be as transparent as possible, so here's a bit more context for those who are interested: The game originally came out in March 2022 and we pushed updates for over a year, with 1.0 releasing in May 2023. The publisher was working on console versions which were intended to launch at the same time, but faced several delays before eventually releasing in November 2023. As the developer, we don't receive any share of TMW sales until the publisher recoups their expenditure. We previously said any updates would depend on console sales, but I think it's now clear that the sales are not going to break even for the publisher. Any updates need to be tested on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch, both offline and online, in 6 languages, across keyboard/mouse and gamepad. There's quite a bit of cost associated with that, so without any income (or access to the console versions) we're limited as to what we can do. We have been investigating bug reports as they come in, but without QA support so far there haven't been any that we can replicate reliably AND break the game for a large number of players. Without both, we can't really make a business case to the publisher to invest in potential fixes.
It's really a shame the devs didnt go further with the game because the more you advance in levels, the more the game is bugged. It just needed some balance patches and bug fixes to make it a fun game.
