Thin Threads

Thin Threads starts slow — painfully slow, even — but by the time it’s over, that pacing makes sense. You feel the exhaustion, the weight, the hopelessness. The quiet isn’t filler; it’s part of the story’s language. There are jump scares, and a few of them got me good, but talking about them feels like taking something away from what the game is really doing. The fear isn’t just in what you see — it’s in what you feel. It’s in the silence, the routine, the emptiness that settles in like dust. The game doesn’t try to comfort you. It just lets you live in that space for a while — and it’s hard to shake afterward. If you play it, take care of yourself afterward. Sit with it, breathe, let it go. I honestly don't know how to score this.
