Thief Simulator 2

It feels a lot better than the first one, feels actually like a game you can sit down & enjoy. However thats a lot of questionmarks. Cars: You can buy a different car as an upgrade. Which is a muscle car. it has no storage for large items. Literally why would anyone want this? The upgrades for your car, you'll never need? I'd l ike to upgrade more storage, or have vehicles WITH more storage. The whole bank interest deal is kinda dumb, once you get the 8% & a decent amount of money there is no real reason to play the game, just spam the weeks by. I just feel like there is more this game COULD do. Better skills, maybe better control over your associates. I mean the whole point of a 'heist' is to have a crew, so it feels kinda short. As a simple 'thief' game its not bad, but the heist parts is just where it falls short. For its price? Its not bad, you'll have hours of fun stealing every single thing from houses & sneaking around, but yeah if they do a 3, it just needs..more. I havn't really bothered with much of the story because theres really no real reason to.

If you are looking for a bold leap forward for the franchise, Thief Simulator 2 will leave you deeply disappointed, as it acts more like a glorified, overpriced "Version 1.5" than a proper new game. The developers essentially recycled expanded copy of the first title, lazily relying on the exact same structural progression, mechanical foundation, and infamously clunky driving physics. While it attempts to mask this lack of innovation by adding larger estates and a few streamlined minigames, it cannot hide the fact that it is ultimately just more of the same tedious grind. It feels less like a true sequel and more like a cash-grab content patch that should have been DLC.
