Ich bin hin- und hergerissen... Das Spiel hat viel Potential, leider wurde zu wenig davon umgesetzt. Aber der Preis passt zum Umfang. Wenn man für 2-4 Stunden Umfang ausgeht, sind das etwa 1-2€ pro Stunde. Wie bewertet man so etwas? Wenn das ganze Spiel die 2 Level und die 2 Gegner sind...aber das Spiel aber auch nur 4-5€ kostet? Ein paar Gedanken: -Das Artdesign ist wirklich toll. -Die Geister nerven. -Es gibt zu wenige Gadgets und zu wenig Konter für Gegner. -Jedes Einsatz ist Zeitbegrenzt -Vielleicht mehr Spaß im Coop? -Man muss Level, Gadgets, Schwierigkeitsgrade und sogar einen anderen Protagonisten *kaufen* - aber nicht gegen Geld, sondern wenn das Spiel das zulässt... -Story quasi nicht vorhanden... nur eine Idee von größeren Welt und interessantem Lore Unterm Strich hat mich das Spiel nicht genug gepackt obwohl ich Schleichspiele liebe. Nett für 2 Stunden.

it is hard to say if this game is worth or not. On one hand, its not good. The lack of maps, tools, ability and enemies makes this game extremely repetitive. The really well designed map is just not enough to save the repetitiveness. On the other hand, its just $4.99.
Look, it's a REALLY good skeleton of a game. But we've basically been had. It was going to get more content over time but that's been shelved, so now all we got are these promising bones and their forever untapped potential. One of those games that never left early access.
Very solid game for some quick fun, very interesting concept.
All the negative reviews are based on what the game "could" have been, but for 5 bucks, you get a hell of a lot game. Super fun to play with friends while you're waiting for the rest of the group to hop on! For the price point, I would 100% recommend the game. ps for all those who are spamming "Greedy Devs" in their comments and reviews, I just Don't see it. Where is the AAA studio with 3 tiers of battlepasses and micro-transactions for every mechanic in the game? Frankly I don't understand how you can feel robbed by a game that cost less than a happy meal at Mcdonalds. SMH.

Но по духу и игровому содержанию это именно то, чего ждали фанаты классической трилогии Thief многие годы после выхода провальной четвёртой части от Eidos. Правда, судя по обилию отрицательных отзывов на данную игру в Steam, эти самые фанаты сами не знают, чего хочут! Ну как всегда. А так, Thick As Thives - вещь вполне играбельная и местами любопытная. Удовольствие от воровского геймплея, сопоставимое с оным при игре в любую из классических частей Thief, либо его духовных наследников, получить вполне возможно. Вся проблема с этой игрой в глазах среднего игрока исключительно в её нишевости - извечное проклятье иммёрсив симов. В заключение стоит сказать, что если вы, будучи ценителем таких вот игрушек, сильно расстроены провалом оной, то не стоит горевать почём зря! Прямо сейчас стараниями инди-разработчиков и издательства New Blood активно развивается Gloomwood, позиционированный изначальной как Thief with guns и наполненный за года пребывания в статусе раннего доступа контентом до такой степени, что в итоге игра стала буквально иммёрсив симом мечты!
Is it a perfect game? No. But will it steal your adoration anyhow? Absolutely. I haven't spent a moment outside of the tutorial in solo play, but with a friend, it has been nothing short of amazing. If you have friends, give it a go with them, if you'd have friends... Try a Ouija board? I dunno...
Wasted potential, the initial PvPvE setting for the game was obviously not compatible with the genre, they had little time to pivot. 3 hours is about what you're going to spend seeing all maps twice, and it gets boring after that. Would rather have paid $10 for 5-6 maps. 2 is ... not great. And the gameplay is rather simplistic. But for the price of a burger, can't complain.
