At it's current state, I can not recommend this game, which is a shame as there is potential, especially with the lore. The game hasn't been updated since June 2022, their twitter has been silent since May, which makes it look like the devs have vanished and left the game on here to collect dust.
in its current state... here's some recommendations to the maker: -flesh out the concept a bit more, my suggestion: if you fail to ID the killer correctly, they avoid custody, forcing the "Client" to go into hiding. -replace the the banishing light with say pepper spray? blind them for a bit... -better evidence. wall eyes, the radio seem weak.... in place of wall eyes....scratches appear on stuff?, the radio could be relegated to player use, and the laughter/crying could be muffled a bit as environmental cues to players... -expand the multiplayer more. other additions could be made to improve later on, but these are things I see needing to be fixed soon. has potential to be fun, but WAAAAAAAAY too early for a $20.00 price tag

Review edited: Im ill rn so i will just give the tldr version the game has recieved significant updates and is functional properly, i reccomend giving it a go now Old review: FOR THE RECORD: This is a not a positive, this is because i feel the game warrants a neutral, not a negative and i feel that giving a negative is harsh for what this title deserves. TLDR: Not quite baked yet, put it back in the oven for a hour longer. The premise seems great, ID the killer before they kill you, but even for an EA this is pretty poor implementation so far, took 4 attempts to get into a solo game that loaded me into a black void Then tried multiplayer and my co-partner was loaded into said void 3 times, then he loaded in and i did, but i couldnt see the killer, even when it was right in front of me a fair few graphical issues I will not say DO NOT GET THIS What i would say is, Get it if you like the idea, but be prepared to wait, nothing comes overnight, this game has great potential, but it just isn't there yet.
The game is enjoyable. The whole concept of all the items is unique and the models are actually pretty nice. Being able to find out the type of killer through the mementos is cool as well. The looping is nice as well while the murderer is chasing you. Being able to play by yourself or with others is fun too. Gives off a phasmo vibe. But it is still a decent game! Give it a try. Wall eyes look spooky
This game is so detailed and the introduction of the lore element has given the story such depth! I love the ambience and the attention to detail with the sound, it's truly creepy and I'm on edge the whole time I'm playing! I love that this has opened a whole new genre of supernatural hunting games - the True Crime Hunting genre! Fantastic game!
where did this game go??????
I know this game is in Early Access, But right now, I can't recommend this as a purchase. The Tutorial of the game let you know how 4 items work, but no proper explanation of how the "phases" work. There is a journal which let's you know information about the phases and the items, but with no practical help, you're left to guess how things work. The timer for the phases run just a little to fast, for example as soon as you load into a match irregardless if your Solo or still waiting for a friend to load in, the Arrival timer is already counting down. I have played a few matches Solo and in Multiplayer and despite having all these different tools, i have found the only thing your really need is the "lore" tool. Chests will spawn periodically in the map and if you collect them with the lore tool, it will tell you who the killer is.. I found out quickly that you cannot hide from the killer (died twice trying) but, you do move faster than them so if you can get to an area with a loop you can out last the hunting phase. If you die, you also lose Experience (only 1xp) which is an interesting take on the levelling system. From what i can see, the game hasn't received an update since June 2022, so not sure if the devs are even still working on it, or if it's been abandoned.
The game was not there from launch and has become vaporware. Totally abandoned. Do not buy this game or support this developer.
LOVE this game! Its got all the good stuff that you want from a ghost investigation game plus a few unique things that make it really fun!
Game is poorly developed. Looks rushed and an attempted money grab. Isn't very re-playable and is full of bugs
