About
They Are Lost is a 1–4 player co-op horror game about rescue missions after doomsday.
The world did not end quietly. People are still out there. They are trapped, injured, missing, or already gone. You are part of a rescue crew sent into what remains of Earth to find them, carry them out, and get paid.
Read the mission. Check the reward. Study the known hazards. Choose your equipment with your team, then step into ruined locations where signals fade, buildings sink into the dark, and something may already be watching.
Each mission sends your nameless crew into dangerous places where survivors, bodies, and missing teammates can all become part of the job. You will search, carry, hide, run, communicate, and make decisions under pressure.
Carrying someone slows you down.
Splitting up makes you vulnerable.
Making noise can attract attention.
Using light can help you see and help something see you.
Use heartbeat scanners, night-vision goggles, and GPS devices to locate the lost. If that is not enough, deploy companion dogs or drones to search places your crew cannot safely reach. When you finally find them, use tactical and personal communication wheels to silently direct the rescue, warn your crew, and express fear, trust, or panic when speaking out loud could give you away.
You are not here to win a fight. You are here to complete the rescue and get out alive.
Successful missions earn money for better equipment and harder contracts. Failed missions leave people behind.
Sometimes the lost are still alive.
Sometimes they are already gone.
Sometimes they are one of you.
Go find them. Bring them home. Not all of you will come back.
