Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Thekku Island is a story-driven, first-person horror game set on a fictional island in 1980s Kerala, India.
You arrive on a remote island after weeks of silence from your wife — she vanished without a trace. As you search the abandoned house and the dark forests around it, you're pulled deeper into a chilling mystery that refuses to stay buried.
As night falls, eerie whispers and unsettling noises echo through the halls. Shadows seem to move on their own, creeping across the walls as if alive. The deeper you go, the more you realize — something is terribly wrong.
Inspired by Indian ghost stories, Thekku Island blends psychological horror, classic ghost encounters, and jumpscare tension into an atmospheric experience where every clue deepens the mystery. There are no easy answers — only whispers from the past.

Nice game
Thekku Island was a unique experience, not gameplay wise but from the aspect of its setting. Honestly, this isn't as scary as shown in the trailer but has a few fear elements which Indians could relate to. The game is pretty short imo, i was just starting to appreciate the puzzles and got to know that I'm already in the end. They could have added more to it. Story and lore, they're decent, i won't say generic because again, the setting of this game is appaudable. I enjoyed how detailed a few things were like the "chitah" or white designs on the floor on Maa Kali's room, The small and cozy God's place in the prologue and other areas. So- it's a solid 6.5 from my side, it felt like a lot if potential got wasted as the backyard, lotus pond area and the island remains unaccsessible. I hope they add new pathways in the future game. The starting and ending, felt like a bit rushed but again I did not expect much.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UOxS6iSvitU&t=29s I really enjoyed the game, lots of challenging puzzles, plays great, no bugs, looks great. highly recommended
its a decent horror game....interesting story and decent graphics. the game do have some bugs which the devs have to iron out.
The game delivers a fairly overall experience, but it never really stands out in any major way. The story is average at best. It’s there, but it doesn’t leave a lasting impression or add much weight to the overall experience. For their first game, they’ve done a decent job, and there’s definitely room to improve in future projects. Rest Overall 6/10 – Decent, but forgettable.
So much useless filler, way to linear, the stamina system of a one-lunged emphysemic, and a plodding & uninspired story. It took me 30 minutes to regret this purchase.
I really wanted to finish this game. But the bugs in this game made me leave . Please fix the issues where sometimes you are unable to do anything (even the tab key wont work, ) I had some issues where the ball being pushed to a wall and got stuck under a chair. I was unable to get a hold of it or kick it. I also had issues that i got hold of the wheel to open the `nilavara` and it just dont get out of my hand even if i use the mouse. I was unable to do anything else rather than walk with it. basically it just locked me out of the game. Also please make the game savable rather than being a auto saved at checkpoints. Other features and gameplay were stunning. I was amazed at the `brahmayugam` themed house and the jumpscares.
I could only play for half hour due to some gamebreaking bugs. I tried a couple of times but the bugs persisted.
My first taste of an Indian Horror. Great atmosphere and sounds. A few jump scares that got me a bit. It was very dark and I'm very thankful that we had a torch with us at all times, lol. The scenery was great with a few cinematics. For $4 it wasn't bad, but maybe if you find a discount i would consider. See my playthrough here: https://youtu.be/gVAyzKCi5qw
