Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Fun game, will definitely play more when I get time. I like it when there's a bit more of a story to a game, and I liked the humor in this one :)
This game is a dumb fun, but it still needs some work, so it won't freeze or bug out during the gameplay.
A quirky, and silly platformer with some really creative and fun gameplay mechanics. The story is fun, but also somewhat epic? Or something. I gotta play more, I'll update this review at some point. Anyway, story good, gameplay good, get it.

Best game that ive played this year by far!
I liked this game, although I barely played it. I did struggle with the first 'boss' fight so to speak, but I think that was due to the mirroring of moves. The music is lovely, and overall the game design is very aesthetically pleasing, even though it is basic. The characters are fun and charming, and there are a lot of silly little things added throughout the game to be enjoyed. It's a sweet game, just not one I could personally get into.
Quirky, Cute and true to its roots, The Wizard and The Slug present a truly unique story with truly great mechanics for a platformer. The game holds itself in a truly entertaining regard as you grow with the game's story to understand what happened historically. A "explorer's paradise" each level is _just big enough_ to allow for the platforming to present a challenge while also having great nooks and crannies. The story is refreshing and yet allows you to build a connection with the characters and livens up the further through you play. Without spoiling the plot: You play as a cute slug who is discovered by an entity on a quest to save someone close to them. You inherit godlike powers and aid them in their quest meeting some familiar and not so familiar faces (take a look at undertale) along the way. For the size and complexity, the game aspect plays well and holds interest from start to finish. It's a truly beautiful game from the simplicity of the art and mechanisms to the story itself. Gamers who enjoy mario, undertale and even decision-driven stories will fall in love with this game.
(check out the first half-hour in the video posted at the bottom of the review!) What can I say about The Wizard and the Slug? Well... I think it's safe to say that this is a platformer at heart. Not too difficult, but it is compelling enough to not get boring. Where this game really shines though is in its story. If you need a game that will make you laugh then I highly suggest grabbing this game. It has that "stupid/foolish" humor that kind of reminds me of the comedy movies of the '80s and '90s. (like the Naked Gun franchise for example) and it works really well with the protagonist. It's not all funny moments that have no substance though. Underneath it all, there is a solid story being told that has it's moments that will hit you right in the feels. Making this a must-play game in my opinion. (Stories in games are a big selling point for me, and this one does it well) I did receive this game for free from the devs, but my opinions are my own. The fact I am continuing to play through this for my YouTube channel is a sign that I really enjoy the game. https://youtu.be/5XfMcG_LMvM
This game gave me a lot more than what I asked for of it! It had a lot of silly moments and that was great for me, but the story did end up being rather compelling if you take the time to read and look for all the hidden and side lore. You do need to know that it is a very story driven game before picking it up, but it does offer up some challenges later on in the gameplay if you chose to take them on. If you don't mind the artstyle, like platformers, enjoy silly moments, and like reading a good story then I would highly recommend this game!
This game is tons of fun with characters that makes you smile, facepalm and what not. Loving the music, enjoying the tempo and overall feel of this game.
