Found a demo of this game a while back while looking for an RTS to scratch this little itch I’ve been having and I gave it a go, and thought it was okay. Something that would be perfect for the app store if it wasn't filled with crap and ads. And after playing the full game, I was surprised how much I was enjoying myself. Lets get the story and presentation out since there’s not much to talk about. Plot is just some guys get shipwrecked and end up on a quest to deal with a necromancer and ends on a meh cliffhanger. The art looks fine. Bit generic but everything was laid out in a professional manner. Although the human characters are clearly using the same with different bits for the different units, I wouldn’t be surprised if the other races did that too. But hey, if you're going to be cheap, best be cheap in the places no one will notice. Now for the gameplay. Starting with the size of the maps. I was a bit disappointed that there were only 8 levels and 3 of them were already in the demo. But when I got to level 4, I was actually impressed with the scale of the map since the first 2 levels didn’t need scrolling and the third just went up and down. The fourth level actually felt like a proper RTS map and it had landmarks like the stairs leading to the castle area. Some scaffolding near you starting point. There’s a blocked area where a fire elemental is prowling around. Color me impressed. And the rest of them levels weren’t bad either. To be fair, I can easily see this as a port of a mobile game with its controls. You just click on an intractable item and the game picks the required unit. Need to collect an item? A worker would be sent to pick it up. Need to deal with an enemy? The game sends the required unit to deal with it. Want to build something? You can only build on designated building sites. That isn’t to say it’s completely automated. There is a bit of linearity to the levels as you need upgrades certain units, and enough houses for those units to proceed and some side quests are done through naturally progression so thats easy rewards. You also have an inventory that you carry throughout the game that can carry things like level ups for you fighters, items to make gathering resources easier and potions and spells to make combat easier, and if you going for 0 losses, they are a must have. Also you can buy and sell resources to get more money for upgrades, gather ingredients for potions for healing or dealing with hazards or just buy items from the Witch’s Hut While at first, 8 levels might seem disappointing, it’s probably a good thing cause they seemed to be out of ideas by the end and level 7 seemed like a proper final level compared to the actually final level with it’s tricky combat encounters and having to cancel commands when hazardous floors started to act up. Though if they want to do a sequel, I hope they do more with the cleric cause he really feels like a glorified key whose features could easily be done by the wizard. So yeah. This game was a pleasant surprise. 7/10

I would play this again. This is very much a point and click game, but it definitely involves strategy. You have to spend your resources wisely to solve the puzzles. I would like to be able to build up an army a bit, and allow more than one unit attack the enemy at a time (not sure if this is possible, maybe I missed something). I think it would also be a good option to allow selling old artifacts (rings, etc) at the market for additional coin, sometimes building up coin can be a bit slow even if you sell your food and wood. I have one chapter left and I'll have finished the entire story. I would think this last chapter will take a few additional hours, so it can likely be finished in less than 10 hours.

It says it's inspired by classic games like The Settlers and Warcraft 3 and yet it doesn't feel like either of those games at all. It's more like a puzzle game than anything.
Sehr nettes Spiel, leider mit 8 echten Quests ein wenig zu wenig.

I loved this game. I felt it was really short, however. The main game took me about 12 hours to complete, but had i been better at the game, it's probably about 8 hours. I definitely preferred the main story to the "Tales" DLC. My only gripes was with not really being able to rely on my workers to do jobs unless I very explicitly told them which meant I need to scroll around a fairly large map constantly. I couldn't set workers to stay in a specific area so sometimes it meant a worker would leave a place I had activity needed done to go do something on the whole other side of the map. This is generally what made the Tales DLCs a lot less fun for me since in the main game story, you still can take your time for the most part, but all the Tales require you to work VERY quickly.
.
Just an awesome game!
