The Talos Principle 2 is a thought-provoking first-person puzzle experience that greatly expands on the first game's philosophical themes and stunning environments with increasingly mind-bending challenges.

The Talos Principle 2 is an ambitious sequel to the first with an attempt to expand the lore and have us chat with a number of characters as we make our way through the different areas. Overall it's a fun game with some interesting puzzles and new mechanics, though the scale, sparsity and difficulty leaves something to be desired. + Decently written characters with unique personalities, if you enjoy dialogue in gameplay then this will be a plus to you + Gorgeous structures and lighting, at times this game looks incredible! If playing on lower settings, shortfalls like upscaling and visual artifacts can detract from its potential though + A good quantity of puzzles in many unique areas, with new mechanics featured in each + A somewhat interesting plot + Freedom to tackle things in whichever order you want with no pressure - Map sizes result in lots of running around through sparse trees and rocks. The overall vibe and structure scale may be impressive but it makes things take longer and feels emptier than it should - Most puzzles were very easy, only the late game optional ones felt challenging - New puzzle mechanics were isolated to their areas and hardly combined - Stars were repetitive and didn't offer much thinking outside the box Despite the shortfalls, I really enjoyed playing through The Talos Principle 2! It's a fun game with plenty of puzzles and optional lore for those who enjoy reading or dialogue. The first game still beats it out by a decent amount, but this sequel is worth checking out.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 17 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,502 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I enjoyed the first game, but felt that it was a bit too limited. This time round it is a lot more inspiring.
awesome
it is really good. like, really really good.

Excellent puzzle game. Uses the lore behind TP1 as a launch pad for a story rich experience. Dive into your own world where there are no monsters to defeat and your progress depends entirely on your own intelligence. Highly recommended

If you liked the first one, you will probably like this one. BUT this one is not nearly as good as the first. The story is bad. The premise is interesting -- actual, physical robots that have to engage with this world -- but the payoff is exactly that, actual ROBOTS who have to engage with this world. So the world is empty and flat. It is garbage. The story is character driven, but unfortunately (canonically?) the characters are robots. So they are boring. I will be honest, a quarter way through, I utilized the skip all function every time. Cause the story is bad and I do not care about these robots. The first one I feel was engaging on a philosophical level; it was fantastic. This one tries to humanize it, but all the characters are robots, and there is some robot drama, but I absolutely could not care less. Much prefer the text dumps of the previous edition to ohhhh are we doing the right thingggg? The puzzles are fun, at first. They seem too easy as the game progresses. But part of that could be that I played the first one.. So won't denigrate the game for that. I absolutely hate HATE hate the physical puzzles that bridge you to the towers. They are at once too easy, and too solvable by bruteforce. They are boring intellectually. Which would be fine but there were not so so many of them! You could draw them out on paper but I think even the dev's knew they are bad because at least half the time the first piece is correct. These physical puzzles are very bad!! Overall, buy it on a steep discount if you loved the first one. Don't expect the world to blow your mind, or even be vaguel;y interstings. I have not played the DLC yet
I wanted to play a game where I explore and don't get attacked. This one lets me do that. So far
