The Roast - Coffee Shop Simulator

As much as I was looking forward to playing, I'll be requesting a refund as it's unplayable for me/glitching. Once I start a new game, the screen is blue and pixelated and I'm unable to do anything. I'll be requesting a refund. Maybe I'll try again in the future.

I truly love this game. The purchase was so worth it. It's still early access so I won't really say much, you know early access has bugs associated with it but I must say the team is very interactive and helpful with noting the bugs and fixing it. A plus team to be honest. I've been leaning into the simulator games and this definitely scratched that itch. I tried this game on a regular laptop (Lenovo, purchased in 2024) at first, it was a little slow and hefty for it. Compared to my gaming PC which runs it perfectly. Just incase someone is wondering how it works on certain low end devices.

There are both pros and cons to this game, I'll start with the positives. This game has been very fun, especially at the start of the game where you are just learning and expanding the shop. There are also a good amount of items to unlock and I am almost 100% expanded. The mechanics for making the coffee is very fun and realistic, I also enjoy that you can paint the walls, although I would also love to change the colour of the outside, specifically the sign and the brick colour! As for the bad, honestly the bugs are quite annoying. Specifically with the employees. I have had multiple moments where the barista makes the order of the person at the cash and then throws the items onto the ground and changes to the other customers that are actually at the counter. I am writing now because I just had to force quit the game because my barista grabbed all of the cake and cookies in the display and threw the tray on the ground, I tried firing her to get the items but she left with the tray and the items. I would definitely wait to play the full release as these bugs will hopefully be fixed.

GIRL I AM SOLD!!!! 20.2 hours playing this game and I LOVE IT! There were a few bugs here and there, but this is a really good game (ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING THAT IT'S AN EARLY ACCESS) and has lots of potential (which I am waiting for) What I want from this game: - Ability to fully customize the cafe however the hell I want (e.g you can't really put some of the items, furtnitures anywhere you like) - TO EXPAND MY CAFE!!! - I wish to get a bit more insight on customer feedback - AND MORE!!! BUT OVERALL, I REALLY LOVE THIS GAME

I love cafe/coffee sims and this used to be my go to coffee sim however other coffee sims have more developments/progress and feature that's why this isn't in my top two. Also, one thing that annoys me in this game is the cash register pc screen, especially the sensitivity of the mouse on that screen. There's like a slowness to it and the texts are so small. Also, if you hover on the receipt, there should be a note that tells you what the order is on the receipt as if you're reading them. The coffee making is great.

Es ist irgendwie sehr simpel. Aber es macht schon Spaß es zu spielen. Muss jeder selbst wissen... könnte aber komplexer sein.

there's a bug when my decorations disappear the next day i login but nevertheless it's on early access, i'm looking forward for the launch. thanks devs!
