endlessly entertaining.
A very challenging start with food and o2 management, but so fun to explore places. Also beautiful and fun to watch the world change from a wasteland to covered with water and greenery. I find the recipes are fairly well balanced as well. There has been love and care poured into the creation of this game and it's DLC's. The art style is great, leading to beautiful vistas and colorful caves. The main world even has some secrets to discover! PS: Some physics in the game can lead to hilarity~ If you like base building, terraforming and exploration, this game is for you!

If you love the satisfying loop of building, crafting, and watching a world transform right before your eyes, The Planet Crafter is an absolute must-play. It takes the best elements of open-world survival crafting games and removes the stressful, frustrating mechanics like aggressive combat or constant base raids. Instead, it replaces them with pure, addictive progression. You start dropped onto a completely barren, hostile red desert with a simple goal: terraform the entire planet to make it habitable for humans. Here is why it stands out: Insanely Satisfying Crafting & Tech Trees: You start by scraping together tiny bits of iron and titanium just to build a basic oxygen tank. Before you know it, you are constructing massive biodomes, automated extractors, and launching rockets into space to seed the atmosphere. The progression feels incredibly rewarding, and there is always one more thing to craft. Visual Transformation: The best part of the game is the literal change in the environment. As you pump heat, oxygen, and pressure into the atmosphere, the sky shifts from a dusty orange to a brilliant blue. Liquid water starts to pool into valleys, turning into massive lakes, and soon enough, moss, grass, trees, and wildlife begin to take over the landscape. Relaxing Yet Engaging Exploration: Without enemies actively trying to kill you, exploration feels like an adventure rather than a chore. Exploring shipwrecked vessels scattered across the map rewards you with rare blueprints, space food, and story fragments that piece together what happened to the planet. It is the ultimate "just five more minutes" game. If building, upgrading, and exploring at your own pace sounds like your ideal gaming session, you owe it to yourself to pick up The Planet Crafter.
Good, but you should install some quality of life mods
