Explore the various planets and locations of Halcyon, including the mysterious Gorgon Asteroid and delightful distilleries of Eridanos. Key Features:
2019’s hit RPG has been remastered with better graphics, improved performance, additional animations, higher-res environments, and a whole new feature: grenades!
In keeping with the Obsidian tradition, how you approach The Outer Worlds is up to you. Your choices affect not only the way the story develops, they also affect your character build, companion stories, and end game scenarios.
During your journey through the furthest colony, you will meet a host of characters who will want to join your crew. Armed with unique abilities, these companions all have their own missions, motivations, and ideals. It's up to you to help them achieve their goals, or exploit them to your own ends.
Halcyon is a colony at the edge of the galaxy owned and operated by a corporate board. They control everything... except for the alien monsters left behind when the terraforming of the colony’s two planets didn’t exactly go according to plan. Find your ship, build your crew, and explore the settlements, space stations, and other intriguing locations throughout Halcyon.

i played this again for posterity and let me tell you outer worlds 2 is the true version of what they attempted here, good nonetheless, better then any modern fallout
Really tried to like it but I just found it bland and boring. We get it, capitalism is bad, but so are this game's graphics, gunplay, exploration (or lack of) and dialouge. The game is repetitive, unpolished and just shallow. Avoid at full price and only play if you have the time to spare. This is no Fallout NV
Really solid game that mostly suffered from not being New Vegas 2, despite never being advertised as New Vegas 2 in the lead up to release. Good fun, good weapon variation, good location variation. Build variety is really good, and you can legimately go a lot of routes without feel like it's a challenge run, from pure melee, to exclusively using the goofy science weapons, to the classic stealth sniper or a heavy gunner - all totally viable and feel distinct and fun. Lots of people don't like that it's not open world, but I'd rather the increased variety of locations and biomes to just "bigger areas" of an open world. I also like that by keeping them medium sized they don't suffer from being proc gen'd to the point of having no personality. This comes bundled with the DLC, too. I liked Murder on Eridanos a lot - it's got a lot of cool old timey cinema vibes that it captures really well - and Peril on Gorgon is excellent. As is often the case the DLC has the best bits of the game. The companions are also all really good, and ones that at face value I didn't like really grew on me over the course of the campaign, since I made sure to take them out for relevant bits of the plot. In terms of effectiveness they vary quite a bit, but I at least liked them all. I know some people had some problems with performance. I didn't at any point, but hopefully anyone who does does so within the refund window because annoying there's no demo to check how it runs.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 30: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

The Outer Worlds Spacer's Choice Edition is a RPG with boring quests and forgettable main story. The art style and abundant colors don't help either which is ugly and not very inspiring. It also hinders enemy recognition against the background. Mouse movement can feel strange but this can be tweaked by fiddling with an ini file. The worst part of the game is the wooden combat. Fighting is a common business here so expect annoyance over and over. It only got better in the end with the shotgun or alternatively a sniper with enough points in stealth and a silencer. Only good part of the remaster is that I didn't get as much stutter as in the original. More neutral because the game became better after finishing the main quest and doing the side stuff. The combat became also easier with a shotgun.
great game .. amazing story line
great game, with personality.
this game has a terrible tutorial-esque start but once it opens up as a real RPG it is a real hidden gem
An awesome fun adventure game with many cool adventures and a good time!
Firefly story type in fallout sandbox.
There were 2 companies chasing shadow of their own previous successful game 'Fallout". They made their own Fallout in space version because 1st company can't and 2nd company won't. Both games are mediocre. This game is a 1st person shooting and "RPG" that took the fun out of every aspect in it own genres. 1. Fewer guns just higher tier of the same gun when you progress far in the story. 2. Worthless skills and perks. You can focus to be good at something but not the best because 3. The adjusted higher skill check. Whoever thought of this is bonker. All you care about is the balance of the game and disregard the joy of players who want to play whatever the ♥♥♥♥ they want. 4. You can't farm money or xp with efficiency because somewhat low respawn rate and their value in return are very low. So player have no choice but be forced to progess main story or do the side quests they don't like or pretend to care about boring dialogue. 5. Removed all the exploited. Why? It's single player game and again player can do the ♥♥♥♥ they want. I want to type more but I'm lazy just like you. So that's it.
