The One Fish

good but need more fishy and rod

While figuring out how to navigate the fishing while evading immediate hazards was a bumpy first 5 minutes for me I eventually got the hang of it and had a great session with friends. Came back the next day to keep playing and my child really liked watching me catch fish in the chill mode. There needs to be some balance depending on the group size, fixes to how some of the healing works, and maybe some other QoL things (a way to color hair/accessories would be nice) but in general this is a fun game that I look forward to playing again soon.

Collision physics need a lot of work especially with the magnet fish which... doesn't seem to work as if it were playtested at all, a few bugs where the camera will get locked in place, I assume the rez rez fish is meant to revive your teammates but I have yet to find out if it actually does that or not. The game has potential but in it's current state it's too infuriating to play with the weird collision, it is in early access after all.

Absolutely so much fun. Genuinely just a good game to turn off your brain and fish especially since they added a chill mode!!!! I’m excited to see future updates with more fish possible and just general bug fixes such as currently sometimes the fish will respawn in the air right after catching it. Only noticed when I was playing with some friends.

even tho i played just 27 minutes for now i love the mechanic of swapping buttons if ur going to remove it pls keep the mechanic as a option its so fun and adds a bit of a challenge

highly reccomend its very fun and chill with friends

i get its early access but $11 for a repetative barebones friendslop game is insane. maybe they have big plans but until then its just not worth.
