The One Fish

i think people are a bit harsh on a game thats still in early access, but the main premise is fun. yeah i do think that certain features should be reworked like the health system shouldnt be hearts, it makes the game kinda scary and very punishing for just getting hit by an enemy. another thing that should be reworked is the eating/interacting, ive mistakenly eaten high point fish instead of throwing and its pretty annoying, i think a simple eating animation / hold to confirm would be neat. this might be more of a personal perfence but a fishing reticle on where the bob will land would be cool, more customization like faces and clothing would be greatly appreciated! maybe a system where you can counter the enemys early game would be nice such as kicking them away or being able to pick them up for a few seconds before they attack you so you can throw them away. a few more nitpicks i have are not being able to swim, it makes getting back on the island sometimes difficult. the scrolling function when pressing tab is really slow, anvils bouncing, i was under an arch and it boinged into me bruh. i do love how optimized the game is! yeah thats pretty much all i gotta say, i think its got high potiential to being a really good/chill friendslop game

game was pretty fun till the update, i dont like the swapping button mechanic or timing click mechanic.

Only give this game A thumbs down due to feeling unpolished and barely any actual content. Everything you see in the previews is everything in the game. Also why no game chat? Please let the devs update this game more before playing otherwise you will feel very disappointed.

cute game but the update ruined it lowkey it's actually too hard, clicks dont register and the switching between left right and middle clicks goes way too fast. drastic difficulty change.

This review is from August 2026, and as of this moment the game is very much early access, so if there have been updates since this review, disregard it. Right now it's just spam left click to catch fish. I'm hoping that's a placeholder for an actual fishing system and not the intended mechanic the developer is going with. I consider this too early even for early access. I can't recommend it just yet if you're looking for something to actually play.

This game is nowhere near to being finished The save system doesn't even work!!!! It's pretty fun but repetitive and the health system is wack would recommend in the future but for rn not worth it imo

This game is so peak i had so much fun with my friend especially since this is in early access they should definetly add more fish maybe diffrent worlds as ways to travel to new areas like js go to mars somewhere but i think thats out of the games idea mainly it just needs more fish and chievements should be added
