About
Why the game is free
This was the first game we ever made, so we were inexperienced, but we’re still proud of what we created, despite its flaws. That’s why we decided to make the game free—so anyone who’s curious can give it a try.
We’re now called Professional Villains and have learned a lot since making this game. We hope you’ll check out our other titles, such as Security: The Horrible Nights, Anglerfish, or The ER: Patient Typhon. 😊

Play through the whole adventure locally with a friend
Unique weapons and power-ups (like shots that grow and shrink)
The Giant Goblin will comment on if he thinks you control him well or badly
Shoot an innocent bird just because you are a jerk
Don’t forget the deadly pooping reindeer
"If you’re after a festive, arcade shooter that truly challenges all that play, then look no future than The Night Christmas Ended. It’s cheaper than a selection box, it’s fun to play and it’s easy to get the hang of it, and its ludicrous characters, daft plot and foul language makes it a game that really has to be seen to be believed."

This game is hilarious. The characters personalities are funny and the stories joke is just the best. It's really awesome as well with the amount of chaos going on while I'm having to time shots accurately. Would recommend this game.
i hate santa clous 2025
The most non-PC game I ever played... An I loved it! hahaha Get ready for quirky humor, good jokes and fast gameplay. The voice acting is super good and a great amount of story told. Be aware: Possible betrayal in the end...?

Full review at: https://thegamehoard.com/2022/12/24/the-night-christmas-ended-pc/ The Night Christmas Ended feels like the kind of game you get more for its personality, the vulgar jokes and sarcastic attitude a fine fit for people wanting something less saccharine around the holidays. Its shooting is serviceable even if the adventure is short, getting both silver and gold medals in each stage didn’t even lead to me hitting three hours, but it’s at least a quick and sometimes inventive shooter even if it’s more interested in changing the mold rather than refining its gameplay styles. Your Christmas game time will probably be merrier with a more polished shooter, but if you want something seasonally appropriate, this game about a snarky goblin swearing and making lewd propositions is only as off-putting as it wants to be.
The Night Christmas Ended is one of the most ridiculous Christmas games I have played, and I mean that as a compliment. It throws me into the role of a giant goblin on a bizarre adventure involving evil pine trees, ridiculous enemies and an extremely strange version of the holiday season. I liked the fact that the game never takes its story seriously because the complete absurdity is what gives it so much personality. The gameplay is a fast arcade shoot em up where I have to deal with enemies while constantly moving around the screen. There are different weapons and power ups that can dramatically change how I approach each section. I enjoyed how simple the controls are because the game clearly wants me to focus on surviving the chaos rather than learning a complicated control scheme. The power ups are especially fun because some of them are completely ridiculous. Shots can change size and behave in unexpected ways, while different weapons give me ways to handle the enemies more efficiently. I also like that the giant goblin comments on how I am playing, which adds another layer of comedy to an already ridiculous adventure. The variety of situations keeps the campaign entertaining. I can fight strange enemies on the ground, deal with airborne sections and even end up in space. I liked that the game keeps changing what is happening instead of staying in one ordinary arena. The pixel art and old school arcade presentation also fit the chaotic design perfectly. My biggest issue is that the game clearly shows its age. Some of the controls and presentation feel rough compared with modern arcade shooters, and certain sections can be frustrating when the action becomes especially busy. The comedy can also be very immature, so I do not think everyone will enjoy its particular style of humor. The local cooperative mode is easily one of the best features for me. Playing through the adventure with another person makes the ridiculous situations even more entertaining, especially when both of us are trying to survive the same chaotic screen. It gives the game more value than I think the short campaign would have on its own. Overall, The Night Christmas Ended is a silly and entertaining arcade shooter that I enjoyed for its complete lack of restraint. I liked the strange enemies, ridiculous story, unusual power ups and especially the cooperative mode. It is rough around the edges and very dependent on its particular sense of humor, but the whole experience has enough personality to make it memorable. Rating: 6.5/10
Prepare for an experience filled with eccentric humor, clever jokes, and rapid gameplay. The voice acting is exceptional, accompanied by a substantial narrative. Be forewarned: there may be a twist of betrayal at the conclusion. In this memorable 2D adventure, you will collaborate with the Giant Goblin to rescue Christmas. Engage in combat against malevolent candy, as the only acceptable candy is that which is vanquished, even if it resembles a bat. - Enjoy epic Christmas-themed music! - Experience the thrill of acquiring a power-up that causes your foes to explode into countless fragments, obscuring your view. It is an exhilarating sensation. - Appreciate the game's diverse mechanics and variations. - Engage in a death match against a mischievous elf, which is both bizarre and entertaining. - Enjoy the freedom to select your own ending. Drawbacks: - The game does contain minor glitches, most of which are not significantly detrimental. However, on the third level of the third world, there was a notable issue where the game continued for 15 seconds beyond the intended conclusion. During this time, I became invisible and was vulnerable to attacks. - The segment where you fly on Rudolf is acceptable, but it does not resonate with my preferences. It lacks the enjoyment found in other parts of the game. In conclusion: The Night Christmas Ended is a charming holiday-themed game. I intend to revisit it during the gold period as well. I look forward to playing it again next year, primarily to enjoy the delightful music, which makes it worthwhile. I hope that the developer addresses some of the glitches by that time.
This game had so many wtf moments, and it was really fun! And hard. I could complete most levels in the first try, but some of them are a real challenge, haha. Makes it so much better when you win. Also it feels great shooting things, especially when you get gun upgrades!
