Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 11.29/day in the week to Aug 29 → 16.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Garbage Alert
graphics r terrible, performance is bad. gameplay is... there is no gameplay. cannot skip cutscenes... current worth $1. if u pay more u have been scammed
At this point, the game is badly optimized and feels too clunky. The premise is great, but it needs a few updates overall to become an enjoyable experience.
Movement is terrible, no jumping over objects, no way of blocking attacks and if your last there is no way to defend yourself also very unoptimized
Great premise, rough execution. The devs clearly have passion, but right now the game isn’t worth the $35–50 price tag—even with the 20% discount. Cross‑platform is advertised, but actually playing with friends on other consoles is a nightmare. The server list is outdated, has no search function, no invite system, and your only hope is spamming refresh until a friend’s server magically appears. We tried for 45 minutes across PC and PS5 and never got in. Performance isn’t much better. Even on lowered settings, the frame rate randomly tanks, forcing us to turn things down again just to keep it playable. Voice chat swings wildly between crystal clear and completely unintelligible. There is a fun game buried under all this, and when things work, the core idea is genuinely enjoyable. But right now it feels like an early beta with too many issues to justify the price. Wait for a major discount or for the devs to iron out the bugs. I believe they’ll get there eventually—but the current build is a big letdown compared to what I was hoping for.
Having finished the main story of the game, I'm left a bit disappointed. The playability issues? Didn't matter. Clunky melee? Didn't matter. Cross-play issues? Didn't matter. Yes, they were ultimately annoying, but me and my friends were having a good enough time that it was the most forgettable part of my experience with this game. Admittedly, we're a bunch of nerd so what we really cared about was level design and lore. That being said, the experience of unlocking the map and lore slowly was really fun. Maybe we're just bad at games, but it really felt like we had to carefully prioritise what we got done each mission up to the point that we discovered The Mound. Once we did though? It felt like what SHOULD have happened is a rise in stakes and difficulty- maybe even in the scary factor, but that's definitely not what happened. It was quite the opposite actually. After the first Tulu Cylinder mission, we acquired them all faster than the time it took for us to complete two Log Book missions. We thought maybe the level design would get more complex, maybe we'd finally feel the need to use the artifacts to complete them but no. It was honestly upsettingly easy. Then came the final mission, entering the mound. It was disappointing enough that we didn't actually have to place the Tulu Cylinders in the pedestals and open the passage ourselves- which had the potential to be actually difficult on top of just being cool af, the mission itself took us 15 minutes. We did it in one try, the level although very cool aesthetically felt empty and dead and on top of everything else left us feeling like there was a lot of build-up then it just dropped off. It wasn't difficult, be that anything to do with enemies or the actual goal of the level and the ending felt... unearned? Don't get me wrong, from a writing perspective? the ending was fine. But because the level design for the last few missions were unsatisfying it just felt like it came out of nowhere. Those missions needed feel high stakes. Maybe they should've been design with each of the artifacts in mind to make them more complex, we definitely should've had a mission dedicated to opening the passage into the mound and the Kn'yan section deserved a whole lot more love than it got. Honestly, it felt incomplete. I genuinely believe that if they revisited those last few levels, this would've my favourite game of the last 2 years. This is my review of the main game. If you don't care about the DLC, that's all you need to read. - The DLC I will concede, the game released on a sale. That's fair enough. As it stands, I wouldn't even pay full price on the main game. That being said I did buy the DLC and will talk about it regardless. It is basically a big room with loads of free treasure. It's a shortcut to loads of tokens, basically. You have it unlocked as soon as you load up the game for the first time and it's just a bunch of re-used assets from the final mission. This in particular upsets me because if me and my friends had played the DLC mission before the final mission of the main game, the final mission would've looked 1000% less cool. I honestly hoped that a whole level dedicated to Yig would've been like a side story that takes us deeper into the forest into a desecrated mayan structure or something. Too bad, ig. Since it has literally 0 story connection, no interesting gameplay and isn't something you have to unlock, I have no real deep feelings about it. Deadass, you could get every single loot piece in that level only needing to fight give or take 3-5 of the mobs if you wanted to.
The games really janky right now. The mechanics force you into animations, I think the concept is amazing but the game is really badly made. Hoping this gets better soon
Challenging, fun and mysterious. Just how I like my women
