Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 11.29/day in the week to Aug 29 → 16.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I don't understand that mixed reviews score. This game is a blast. Me and my brother have been playing a few hours and really enjoying the horror elements. Like other reviewers have noted before, we wish there would be a gear progression element where inventory carried over between missions. It's very rare to get permanent upgrades and it's a little grindy in that sense. Still, highly recommend this game if you like a little different horror story with the old colonial era exploration myths.
I see a lot of negative reviews, but there seems to be a pattern in those. A lot of them target the graphics or the performance. For people who enjoy games for their content over hyper-beautiful graphics, this game is absolutely as fun as the trailers proclaim. I only owned it a few days since writing this review and I have been playing it a lot with my friends. It's fun, it's tricky, it keeps you curious and even with average graphics it looks very nice. Just change the settings in the options to something your pc can run, and then judge whether you like this game for the gameplay or for how pretty it looks.

Was really excited to try. Clunky controls, poor performance, and boring gameplay mechanics. Just another boring extraction game.
Even though this game could use a bit of polish in certain areas, I think it's a very fun exploration experience if you're able to play in a group of 2-4 friends. :) I'm leaving a positive review for support and hopes of this game getting a bit of polish, because it has good potential of becoming even better.
Fun gameplay and mechanics. Great performance. No issues on Linux.
Great game with great aesthetics. could use a bit of polishing up but overall addictive! runs good for me and haven't really encountered many if any bugs. Finding a friends server can be a bit challenging but overall still find them in a few mins of refreshing(server password works).
It's a really manly game with really unique and lovecraftian atmosphere. Ok of course it takes improvements and hopefully some DLCs for more lore and stuff. Don't be so hard.. the devs are trying. It may set up the stage for many other unique and scary things to come! Do give it a try, i don't think you will regret it.
A Chilling Conquista Nightmare The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu delivers a breath of fresh air to the cosmic horror genre by dropping players into a brilliantly realized 17th-century Conquista setting. The atmosphere is simply unmatched—the oppressive, overgrown jungle looks absolutely stunning, making every step into the unknown feel genuinely hazardous. What Makes It Shine: Immersive Audio & Atmosphere: The spatial audio design is exceptional. Every rustle in the foliage and distant whisper adds to a constant sense of dread, delivering a genuine thrill and chills from start to finish. Sanity & Hallucinations: The sanity mechanics are a standout feature. The way the game handles visual and auditory hallucinations is cleverly executed, constantly making you question what is real and what is just in your head. Fantastic Co-op Experience: While terrifying alone, the game truly shines when played with friends. Sharing the descent into madness makes for unforgettable and intense gameplay sessions. The Verdict Unfortunately, the experience isn't completely spotless yet. There are still some lingering bugs and technical glitches present, but thankfully, they are not game-breaking and don't ruin the overall fun. If you are looking for an atmospheric, spine-chilling co-op horror with a unique historical backdrop and clever psychological mechanics, The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu is definitely worth diving into.
