De los peores juegos de supervivencia que he jugado, no se sintió un juego que quise seguir jugado, creo que lo peor es que el movimiento y combate se siente muy mal como proyecto de escuela, tambien no carga bien las texturas y los escenarios (tardan mucho)
good game..i have not finished it but i love the game play. the digging the freedom to choice when and if i move to next stages
Fun game, plenty of glitches however (not the good kind). Gameplay and progression feels good, as does combat. The building and crafting systems feel great too, so definitely a recommendation despite the bugs. The glitch that affects gameplay most is items falling through the map or remaining stuck inside the walls/ceiling of ore veins. On one of my campaigns an orkish key fell through the map, preventing me from getting the loot inside the chest. Fortunately this item falling glitch can be somewhat mitigated by holding E when mining or demolishing structures to vacuum items before they even hit the floor. Installing a player-built floor also helps to prevent the glitch. Areas in the map sometime have trouble loading, barring you from entering until it loads, which can take a long time in some cases. The worst glitch I experienced was when I was gathering resources in the Lower Deeps and I got caught in some kind of strange loop that persisted even after I shut down the program via Task Manager. I took some initial damage like when the player falls into water and is teleported back to solid ground, even though I was no where near such terrain at the time. I thought it was the end of my 123 day campaign, softlocked in this strange glitch, but fortunately I died somehow. Thankfully, I was able to get my gear back. I urge other players to be cautious around the front right-hand corner of the Great Drain Pumps Room, as there's something wrong with the map there and you will get stuck after chopping the trees and fall through the map after returning to the area. So please remember to take care when chopping trees in the Lower Deeps haha. If any other experienced players know what caused this weird player-trapping glitch please comment on my review so I can learn :D
Campaign was pretty fun, helps a ton that its set in the Tolkien universe. Barely scratched the surface of the Durin's Folk DLC but so far seems good. Resources are limited per world, but I have just found out character inventory stays across worlds, hope that can help someone.
I am not a huge *Lord of the Rings* fan, but I have watched most of the movies. I went into this blind expecting a dwarven adventure, and that is pretty much what I got, with a few janky moments along the way. I think this game would have been more enjoyable with a group, but I played it solo.
The Good
+ It is pretty engaging as you slowly unlock more forges, equipment, and upgrades. + You get to see iconic areas from the dwarven mines that you may recognise from the movies. + The weapon enchantment visual effects are pretty cool. I liked the one that makes your weapon glow when orcs are nearby. + Combat can be basic, but it is fun once you get better at dodging and timing your attacks. + The verticality is pretty cool. You can go down into deep crevices and explore different levels of the mines.
The Bad
- A big part of the game involves building wooden platforms to get around, and they can be very janky. - Most locations start to look the same after a while. - The final area is ass and very hard to navigate. Maybe that is by design, but it was still frustrating. - Getting Black Diamonds is challenging early on. - There is not much to do after beating the dragon if you do not have the DLC. All in all, I would say the game is okay. There is a high chance you might get bored halfway through because you are doing the same things over and over in different locations. Still, it is a decent dwarven adventure, especially if you enjoy crafting, exploring mines, and building up your base. I would probably recommend playing it with friends instead of solo.
