The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria™

This game is incredibly engaging and pretty addictive. Love the lore, the setting, and the general design is really easy to sink in to. This is also way more fun to play online with friends than to try to solo, I think that I will very rarely play this alone. My only complaint is some of the interface. Building can be very persnickety, and combat takes a lot of patience. But, the game is fun overall!

I played this originally at launch on EPIC and really enjoyed it - when I saw Steam sale have the game and all the DLC's up for less than I originally paid I felt inclined to get it. I enjoyed the additions to the game (not played all the Durins Folk DLC yet) but the weapons from the Orc Hunter and Beorn addition, as well as the honey farms have made the game significantly more manageable for crafting, making food and running through the game. Playing with the addition to Delvings through the game, rescuing a number of dwarves during the story has been a brilliant addition making the need to farm some items less of a grindy burden on myself. Definitely recommend, although the gameplay is shorter than some would expect - I ran through base game in 45 hours (having already completed it so I knew how to navigate the tunnels).

Just finished the Campaign. I can not tell you how many times I was blown away by the beauty of Moria. I first picked up the Lord of the rings when I was 12. It captured my imagination and continues to do so. This game took me back to the wonder that JRR Tolkien's amazing storytelling unleashed. I have purchased Durin's Folk expansion so I can continue to leave out my fantasy of being a dwarf in Moria.

It was very fun, until i died and lost all my gear and tools. Almost reminds me of exploring the catabombs
