The Left Behind

OK, so I decided to buy the game even with all the negative reviews because I saw the latest update had added a bunch of stuff that would’ve made it a much more interesting. And for $10 I didn’t figure I could go wrong. I get where all the negative reviews are coming from but to me this has a lot of potential, it’s just missing so much right now and there’s so many issues with it. But if they keep updating it, it could be a really good game so I’ll tell you the good and the bad. The good The game is beautiful. It has great graphics. I think the environment is pretty awesome and I love the way. The characters move and the zombies are pretty cool. It has good atmosphere and I like the sound effects. I do love the fact that they added a safe feature to the game now so when you’re playing solo, you don’t have to worry about Perma death every 15 seconds. It has good bones to be a good game whenever it comes a full game. The Bad Not enough suitable content in the world, too many of the buildings are copy and paste of each other, the combat is OK but not great. I did not find a difference between punching a zombie or using an ax or a baseball bat against them, I could one or two shot them with my fist so I’m not sure if weapons are working right now. It desperately requires some form of gui that will tell you where to go. I got the mission for the antenna luckily I saw it, but then the next mission is to go get his papers and it says it’s near the graveyard. But there is no heads up display to tell you which direction to go and there is no map even though it says there’s now a map feature in the game I could not find it. The AI zombies are dumb. That’s the best way to put it. They’re not smart. It’s easy to survive at night if you just go upstairs into a house and stand at the top of the balcony, the zombies will stand right below you and won’t come up the stairs. Not enough suitable content in the game yet. Gamers love to see outfit changes, different weapons, hats costume items. There’s nothing like that. I found so far. Overall It has great potential and for somebody doing this by themselves it’s pretty amazing. But the combat needs to be fixed. The zombie intelligence needs to be fixed and they just needs to be way more content in the game before it’s considered a playable game. I’m putting I would recommend this game only because I got it for under $10 and I think it has good bones, but I can understand why people would not like this game as well. Also, the first time I’ve played it I played for 30 minutes in the game, completely locked up and crashed on me. Not sure if that was a fluke or if it happens to everyone.

Not good...not good at all. Poor performance, graphical glitches, settings sometimes dont save, enemies basically are punching bags you just spam attack till they die. This is a vewery long way from interesting to play. Cant recommend at this time. Refunding

A different take on the Zombie Survival genre. the Main Game is a one shot adventure that is brutally unforgiving. Could use a map and a state save option, but I get what the developer is going for. You'll need some time to play so this isn't a jump in for 15 minutes kind of experience. I rather like the idea. My main gripe is the need for optimization. Keep it up! if you like brutal unforgiving games this is for you. I haven't played any mode other than the core Survival loop, but I imagine playing easy would alleviate some frustration. Thanks!

absolutely garbage, even turning the games graphic's down doesnt help with the awful framerate, maybe thats a my pc thing. i played with a friend, and the zombies that would target him would stop and turn to target me for whatever reason, and there is ♥♥♥♥ all weapons in the starting town area, horrible game, 11 bucks for this is a rip off, make it free and maybe i'd be more generous, but this game is not worth the 11 bucks, and i didnt even buy it, a friend did

The movement is super weird and it stutters a lot

Clunky slop!!! I'm sorry i was looking forward to this game. As it stands right now its gonna be taken off steam like that game (The Day After). Refunded!!!!!!!
