Honestly, this is the first survival game in years that's truly scratched that itch for me. It feels genuinely unique in a genre that's become pretty repetitive. The atmosphere and setting is incredible, and the soundtrack deserves a special mention because it fits the world perfectly and elevates every moment, whether you're exploring, craftiing, upgrading your ship/tools or barely surviving. It strikes a great balance between challenge, progression, and discovery without ever feeling like a chore. It's one of those rare games that's hard to put down and keeps you thinking about what you'll do next long after you've logged off A masterpiece.
Highly recommend this timewaster. Still in early access, new content is coming on a regular bases and the community is great. Do not buy if you are expecting a flawless game, put it on your wish list and wait for 1.0.
It's not that it's bad. I just find the progression and leveling of the main character to be boring, especially the crafting and what I get to build... Fourth level of a battery? Hmmkay. Whatever. I get to craft cables?? pass. It could benefit a overhaul of collectibles. Special human relics, where I get to place them (and keep it on a special display?). How about finding paintings, a wine bottle. But I get that it's still in early access so it has a chance to capture me again. Let's see.
Yes absolutely yes! Will stop playing until the game is finished now. It's a whole new subnautica feel.
Explore abandoned places, collect stuff, upgrade yourself and your ship. Glorious views, excellent art, fantastic design, there's also probably interesting story if you can get away from exploring abandoned places, collecting resources and upgrading. You can also build machines, but not a lot. I especially enjoyed exploring places and collecting stuff. In fact, that's what I was primarily doing: exploring and collecting, occasionally building machines and upgrading. If you enjoy exploring places and collecting junk this game is for you. I know I enjoy exploring places and collecting junk, so this game was for me, I got sucked in from the first minute and I can't get unstuck.
I really, really wanted to like this game, but the poor optimisation and constant crashing just ruined it for me. Perhaps something to come back to when it eventually is a bit more optimised. I appreciate my system is quite dated, but it shouldn't have struggled as much as it did running this game. Refunded for now, might come back later.
Игра классная, но очень хотелось бы увидеть кооп в ней. С другом в разы будет веселее
Wait for release. It's probably the best looking game i've ever played but it's plagued with balance, pacing and tonal issues, but most of all horrific bugs that get compoundingly worse the longer you play. Even though the writing and lore are weak and hamfisted and the combat being repetative and sometimes quite tiresome, it's still a very fun exploration game with a lot of secrets to find and comes with a welcome twist on the usual open world survival crafta. More than anything i wish they'd replace the schmaltzy female voice in my head with something more appropriate, even straight forward text-to-speech would be better than what it has currently.
