The Karters 2: Turbo Charged

I have hundreds of hours in CTR Nitro Fueled, mostly doing time trials, and Karters 2 fixes everything that was frustrating about CTRNF. It's mechanically a better game. Also, CTRNF has no PC port, which has always been a strange omission. Karters 2 also has a very active modding community. You can play every 1999 CTR track, all the CTRNF tracks, MK Wii, MKDS, Sonic Riders, etc etc etc. You can also download all the characters (with voice overs), karts, and wheels from CTRNF and MK. You can race as Saul Goodman in the Fast & Furious Supra. You can race in the Oscar Mayer wiener mobile. And so on. To elaborate on the fundamental mechanical difference from CTRNF: In CTRNF, different boost pads give you fixed speeds, and as long as you make zero mistakes and don't run out of boost reserves, you maintain that speed. But, if you even brush a wall or get hit by an item, you lose all your speed, making it very punishing. In Karters 2, every boost gives you a little bit more speed and reserves, and hitting a wall only makes you lose some speed and reserves based on how hard you hit the wall. It's more forgiving but also allows a massive skill ceiling because you can build up more and more speed as you keep drift boosting.

ME ENCANTAAAA ES UNA COMBINACION DE CTR, SONIC, MK Y DEMAS EN UNO SOLOOOOOO. Lo unico malo es que no hay partidas en Linea, el modo solo esta de adorno, mas de 20 minutos buscando una y no existen JAJA De ahi en fuera el juego es magnifico para jugar solo.

The closest we will get to Crash Team Racing on PC. Only really fun with mods, this has crazy workshop support.
