Great!
Lem gets done dirty in this fanfiction spinoff that neither follows the book nor has anything of its own to add to the book's ideas, producing a tediously slow and glitchy walking simulator with frustrating pixel hunting and maze navigating for the next bit of content. Go re-read the book instead. 3/10. Gets the 3 points for a decent visualization of soviet atompunk sci-fi aesthetics.
Molto carino
Engrossing, gorgeous to look at. Highly recommended.
非常优秀剧情,非常高质画面,非常动听音乐,但是后半段一直闪退,无缘之。
Amazing game loved the story and the looks of every definetky a 10/10 for me and 100% recommend it as a game to try
Great narrative, great story, great voice-over! Not so great character control, and not so great performance/optimization. The great narrative and story come as no surprise, as the game is based on Stanisław Lem's writing. The voice-over is probably the best I’ve ever experienced in any game. The dialogues between Yasna and Novik are perfect in tone and intention. Their voices sound "intelligent" and "elegant", and are pleasurable to listen to for hours of dialogue. Their dynamic reminded me of Henry and Delilah in Firewatch, but in The Invincible, the depth and complexity of the dialogues and situations that arise in the game give them even more room to shine. As a dialogue recording engineer myself, I really appreciated the work done in this department. Gameplay-wise, the game met my expectations. It's not very innovative or dynamic, it's more of a linear walking sim, but with good visuals and sound that support an immersive atmosphere capable of leading the story in a convincing and captivating way. Now for the bad part. What frustrated me the most was the character control. It's super awkward to move around and feels like the devs aimed for realistic locomotion but failed somewhere in the process. Terrain collision is also often weird, glitchy, and bumpy. Performance was horrible in many parts of the game. I often experienced horrible stuttering, and I tried different graphic settings, but it didn't make much of a difference. This felt very disappointing considering the team size and price tag. Overall, it felt like a really cool, refreshing experience to me. It made me curious about other Stanisław Lem works. I just got the Solaris book!
Интересная визуальная новелла с приятным интерактивном.
