Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 29 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The Imperial Capital Burns is a prequel story to Muv-Luv Total Eclipse however, it is a much more enjoyable experience. The story of this VN covers the first 2 episodes of the Total Eclipse anime and stretches that 40 minutes of content to around 6 hours of reading. Unlike the massive stretching done to the main Total Eclipse VN it is not much of a problem here. The time is filled with new scenes that develop the characters and while the broad strokes of the anime's story are followed, the individual scenes are often very different. I recommend this to readers who want more Muv-Luv lore or if you just love Yui.

TE was really the starting point of my interest in the MUV-LUV series. It’s an excellent prologue that expands on Yui Hime's background story. Compared to the TV anime, it includes additional scenes and slightly different endings for Yui’s classmates. As someone who really don't like Kyoto, I do think it’s a pity they didn’t include the scene where the Destroyer Class destroy the Kinkaku-ji and the Kiyomizu-dera
Очень хорошая и шикарная игра, крайне рекомендую.
I am currently in the process of reading the main story but I will say this is a fantastic prequel. It adds a great amount of context for why our character is the way it is and also does a great dive into the mindset of the population before japans invasion. This world building really enriches the already expansive Muv-Luv world in a great way. As for the actual story itself, the destruction of the BETA attack again really highlighted just how terrifying they are where even despite Japan having prepped so much for their potential invasion, they were still utterly massacred despite being a first world country with one of the strongest militaries at the time. The stress placed on the soldiers was also quite palpable in the face of the BETA where watching the lengths that are needed to face them head on being quite sad but you also understand the necessity of these inhumane actions. Now outside of the story, I will say that for some odd reason this game is really laggy for me in full screen. I was eventually able to find a solution by making the game borderless window with a external program (the game doesn't have a built in option) It was definitely problematic and hurt my experience with the story for the period it lasted. There was also a bit of a voice playback issue where if you cut off the voice by going to the next line, there would be a weird jitter instead of a clean cut like most other VNs. This was really irritating for me as it added just a little bit of additional jarringness to the experience. Overall, a great story and I do highly recommend for any enjoyers of the Muv-Luv franchise but there really needs to be more work done on the UI to at least ensure no lag for people in general while playing this game.
The story is incredibly good and sad. I recommend it 100%. The only downside of the game is the engine, which ,for some reason, does weird things when trying to play in fullscreen.
